From where you are, Townhouse or Cupids would be our recommendation. A bit further afield Atlantis in Stoke-on-Trent is nice for first time club visitors.
All have their dress code on their websites, and this probably will inform which you want to visit. Cupids is dress-down on arrival, Townhouse partway through the night, and Atlantis is dressed throughout (unless you choose otherwise!).
Rules for most clubs are very similar - no means no, no phones or photos, clean up after yourselves, and lastly that you don't have to play or do anything whether it's your first visit or your hundredth - enjoy the atmosphere, chat to others, take things at your own pace. |

Clubs are very different and so are people. So maybe if we could understand what you'd be comfortable with first time that could help.
Dress down all times (towels and underwear) or somewhere you can keep your clothes on (or at least in social areas)?
Large and busy (where you can get lost in) or small and intimate (where everyone will see you)?
A very chilled social vibe or a vibrant party/nightclub vibe?
Anything else you can add to help us know what you're looking for? Also any practical things to know like do you need accommodation near by or do you need public transport links ect? |
