"Any idea what changes they are intending to make?
Im hoping fir a mixed cinema room, always fun, or a dark room. "
They already have a dark room. I highly doubt mixed cinema room is going to happen as that would probably require them to have sexual entertainment licence. They used to have porn playing in couples room but that stopped one year after they got hit with the need for such licence. So my guess is, they chose to stop showing porn instead of having to jump through way too many hoops. |

It's not about "biting the bullet", as far as I'm aware, but having the need for sexual entertainment licence. Which means jumping through quite a few hoops and shelling out some money, too. |

Let's not be too dramatic, I'm sure they will open in due course. Yes, an update on here would be great but maybe they're just busy doing the jobs needed?
If, for any reason, they decided not to reopen, I'm sure the other localish clubs would find it good news. Jaydees regulars - not so much. |

Just look at the one in Derby, it took them months to jump through the hoops before they could reopen! |

From the photo its a lot more than redecoration! Looks like they are redesigning the inside! That means new building regulations and fire escape design! Possibly structural design changes. All takes time! |

As we helped with the attic relocation we can say this.
No doubt the club is working with 3rd parties getting work done and signed off and sometimes those 3rd parties are not working to the time frame the club will want or need. The silence will no doubt be down to the club not having firm details to pass on, and a no update kind of update becomes tedious and lost. And not to mention the endless messages they will be getting.
It's hard to be positive and say we aim for x, as if x comes and goes it feels like you've let people down. I hope those working behind the scenes have light at the end of what can be a very long, dark and lonely tunnel. And they are keeping sane |
