A couple who enjoyed swinging for years are now campaigning for clubs and websites to be shut down.
Elvis Sharps, 43, and his partner Tracy Doncaster of Chandlers Ford, Hampshire, said they received death threats and derogatory comments.
For the uninitiated, swinging involves married or long-term couples having sex with other people’s partners.
Elvis and Tracy began the practice more than a decade ago but have since stopped and are campaigning for some clubs and websites to be shut for good.
They said: ‘We got a lot of abuse from the first time we did it, with people calling us fat, saying we look like mother and son. People were judging us by our looks.
‘We met one couple about three times, but they turned against us for no reason. We stopped swinging in January 2023 because things got so bad.’
Tracy, 55, explained that despite rumours of swinging being ‘fun and accepting’, many people are ‘nasty’.
She added: ‘My advice would be to people – don’t do it, especially if you are plus size. I wish we never started it, and I am glad we are out of it all.’

So they happily used the clubs and online services for a decade, and then start to get rejected and now want till tear it all down. Quiet normal behaviour
