"Ok I'm not sure if it was just a bad experience and we should give it another chance or if this is the norm for this cub. As we are quite new to the club from the moment we walked in the main area we felt extremely uncomfortable and intimidated. People glaring at us all the time for no reason. Whatever their problem was they didn't have the balls to come over and tell us. Nobody sat next to us yet when we moved everyone went and sat down where we was. It was though we was from another planet. We paid our money like everybody else and our money is just as good as everyone else's. The snobbery and snootiness was absolutely rife with young people looking us up and down. We're not ugly but not perfect like everyone else. Left after 2 hours as we couldn't stand it any longer. " We have been members for around 25 years and hand on heart can honestly say that we have NEVER (thankfully) endured a similar experience. Yes, inevitably some visits have not been as others others. So sorry that you had to your bad experience. NB I can also confirm that my reply is a true account of our membership, and we do not have any connection (apart from being long term members) to Cupids xx | |||
