Police called to club
Jump to: Newest in thread
Only once have we seen any sort of trouble in a club. A guy wasn't pleased about being repeatedly rejected. The more alcohol he consumed the more aggressive his approaches - so he was asked to leave. This resulted in him squaring up to one of the staff. Several other male customers in the club 'persuaded' him to rethink that action!
We won't name the club, because that's not fair on then. They handled the situation properly, and there should be no bad reflection of them.

"Have you ever been in a club where the police have been called? Is it more likely to happen on a singles night or couples?
Why were they called in the first place?
What a odd question lol..."
You’ve obviously never been on Reddit then. |

"Some time ago now, the club I attended was in the NOTW.It was stopped immediately and the owners of the venue in serious trouble.
Notw....educate me please"
That echelon of newspapers called the News of the World, itself well dodgy, shut down and replaced by Sun on Sunday I believe |

Once, but wasn't noisy enough to find out details. Just carried on doing our thing and having a great night. Think it may have simply been a couple who wouldn't leave when asked. But very rarely trouble in clubs. Seen two actual fights over years. I think clubs generally try their best to handle problems in house. Im sure they dont want draw negative attention to the club in the public eye or in the eye of the local authorities.
However our guess would be from experience couples nights. We've probably seen far more drama, fights and domestic kick off from couples in our time (amongst them selves or with other couples).
However it's really important to point out this is over years and clubs are a really safe night out. |

Twice a club we were at. Once a bloke had a Cardiac Arrest in the car park at the end of the night. Police had to attend as well as Ambulance. Police were called on another occasion as a single guy was refused entry due to single guy ratio had been met, he wasn't happy and when the owner went outside to explain he was punched in the face by the guy who was refused entry. Police arrived very quickly and arrested him, to be discreet they returned for statement upon club closing |

I used to live in Spain and was at a swingers private party in a villa there once when the police turned up as they’d had complaints about the music being too loud from the neighbours. The party hosts always made sure the music was kept to a reasonable volume and doors and windows were kept shut as much as possible but the neighbours always tried to complain all the same. The police were told all this and agreed as they said they couldn’t hear anything when they unexpectedly turned up. Anyway, they said they still had to follow up on the complaint and after they had walked around a bit started to chat to some couples. Next thing you know, they’d hidden their guns and radios, taken off their clothes and ended up staying for a few hours. You could still hear their radios occasionally crackling with muffled voices while they made a number of the women very happy. The only downside was that afterwards, none of us got assurances we’d never get a speeding ticket again… |

Not while I’m there but heard some horror stories from fire breaking out, medical emergencies, fights, people dying and getting murdered but that can happen anywhere. Why are you asking? |

I once requested someone call the police as someone was - from my point of view and othees - being forced. The club told me 'it was their thing'. The couple left the club, the woman bruised and in tears. I complained and was banned. Truly disturbing and odd. |
