So which really is the best club?

We are an attractive mid 40’s couple looking to visit a club for some no pressure sexy fun. Whilst travelling isn’t a problem we do find it incredibly difficult to judge which club would best suit us.
I have been to a few clubs in the past and a regular visitors to La Chambre with my ex partner.
Here we found some nights were electric (especially the SDC ones) whilst others were simply non-starters.
Now La Chambre claims to be “The premier swinging club in Great Britain”, however a lot of other clubs make similar claims which makes it really difficult to decide which is the best club to try.
I’m sure many of you will have opinions as to which is the best (and why). However, wouldn’t the addition of an overall star rating within the club reviews area be a big help (like you get on trip adviser)... any thoughts?

People like different clubs, for different reasons.
Our team voted for their top 5 clubs in the UK back in 2010 and no two person or couple listed the same clubs or in the same order. Everyone likes different things, and has their own idea of their 'perfect club'
In 2010, the list was 1) Chameleons 2) VA joint with Liberty Elite 3) La Chambre 4) Xtasia joint with Infusions 5) Ourplace4fun
At the end of 2011, we all took a vote again and it was 1) Liberty Elite 2) Chams joint with Atlantis 3) La Chambre joint with VA 4) Club F (Durham) 5) Ourplace4fun
All that shows is that while some people still liked the same places, others tried new ones and preferred them, some clubs like Atlantis really came in with a bang, everyone on our team loves the place. Just a matter of exploring the scene and finding which one creates the kind of atmosphere you like and attracts the people you want to meet. |

We should also add here, not everyone on the team has been to every club, and also several people visted Xtasia since the revamp, after the vote was taken and said they loved it.
So next year it will be different again we are sure, and if you took a poll from everyone on fab, we are sure that would be different too, though we would expect many of the clubs we have mentioned to be up there somewhere. |

Great thread. It is v difficult to tell from the reviews. There is a lot of 'spam' to filter out. In our modest experience. Chameleons and AbFab are great. We hear good things about Libs Elite. On our to do list. Also xtasia and Club F. Not impressed with a few others but it'd be mean to name them. It's a try it and see scenario. But we would always say the bigger and more professional the better. Have fun all.  |

As others have said, it really depends on what you're looking for. But in my humble opinion its Chams, Partners, Isis, Youtopia, and Cupids. I might have changed my mind next month after I visit Tease but you never know.
Not a fan of La Chambre as I found it cliquey and unfriendly. To me it isn't always the sex that makes it a successful night. Its whether the regulars invite you in, and La Chambre lost out there by a long way. |

Completely depends on where you live I think! We really enjoy Jaydees and the reviews speak for themselves, but it's reasonably close to us so what's not to say if we lived up north we wouldnt enjoy a club up that way just as much? |

We are big fans of Libs. Simply because its smart and very friendly.
We have not been anywhere else yet because we have had such good times there. We are planning on going to others this year but for us it will always be where the good times began. |

As swingers isnt it all about variety? Lol why limit yourselves to one club? How about having a personal top ten lol or even just a favourite three... our local favourite has to be tease2 especially the diamondinthebuff socials, next one sat 23rd for anyone who wants to check tease out lol gonna be a good one see you there..... |

That is so true LS83,
I do live up North and have tried clubs from The Midlands upto Blackpool. There's some very good ones and some that need a bit of attention, but all in all I think people go to clubs they like and the nearer to home the better in most cases.
Mind you I do have a female friend who lives in Essex, so you never know we may one day venture into the unknown world of Southern Clubs....lol |

We've been to over 40 clubs here and abroad. None of the clubs offer exactly the same experience as another, or even of themselves the week before. Naming 'the best club overall' is impossible because it is such a subjective thing. Our favourite is unlikely to be yours. All you can say is that some clubs are more popular than others but that doesn't mean YOU will like them. We rarely give up on a club after only one visit, try more and see what you think. |

As others have said, it really depends on what YOU like. I visit La Chambre regularly, and also Partners in Bury (near Manchester). La Chambre has the better dungeon and the better playrooms, Partners has the better pool/jacuzzi/sauna area.
But, at the end of the day, it's the PEOPLE who make the clubs. I tend to go where my friends go, as I know the evening will always be a great laugh, regardless of whether I play or not.  |

Agree with above posts the most important aspect of any club is the people on the night , different clubs offer different things but the one consistent is the people that attend and that's what makes the night  |

It all depends on the night aswell, some nights can be hit and miss even at the bigger clubs, weve had great nights at chams and not so good, same with infusions, partners etc etc
We say at least try every club you fancy at least 3 times if possible then decide which clubs you like, to revisit.
like said one night could be quiet, or you couldnt mix well.
Sometime your nerves get in the way, at new clubs,
So to be honest no one can judge a club after one visit, apart from how clean it is and do the facilities work, the rest is sometimes in the hands of the gods lol |
