Was planning my first club visit for this Friday, but I noticed that to get a ride back home is almost near impossible unless I have a car.
Any solutions or possible alternatives? |

Clubs are often in difficult places to get to without a car never-mind getting home from. We know a few in town/city centres and ones that have very good public transport links in the day. However the trouble is night time, the transport doesn't run late enough. If we use public transport for a club we have to book a hotel room near by (or on site as some clubs have). Even if we take the car we need to book in somewhere as we like a drink. Or as we had to be back that night once a pre-booked taxi home (which cost the same as a hotel room). Unfortunately this adds a good bit of cost onto a club visit but these are the only options viable that we can see. |

I’m pretty sure you can get a taxi 24 hours a day now, especially if you’re in a city centre. And you can pre book to make sure you don’t get stranded.
Everything you’ve stated applies to any night out anywhere, it’s nothing specific to swingers clubs. Wherever you go you need to arrange a way to get home or somewhere to stay if you aren’t driving and millions of people every weekend manage to do it ok so I don’t get why it’s any more problematic when you go to a swingers club.
The only reason would be if the club is located miles and miles away from anywhere so taxis won’t go there but everyone there would have the same problem and the staff would know that the problem exists so most likely they will provide a solution. |

"Which club? Where are you going back to? Stay in a Hotel? Get a Taxi? Find a Prebooked taxi? "
Cupids this Friday.
And heading back to Lancaster.
I did check hotels but they all seem expensive.
Might have to pay a taxi instead |

There’s quite a few Premier Inn’s local to Cupids. Or the Hello.
Is there a forum post for the event you’re attending? If so might be worth commenting on that thread and seeing if anyone is coming from your way that you could car share with |
