I'm thinking of trying Silverleighs tomorrow, their website doesn't have a great deal of info or photos of the facilities. Is it a good place to go? Am I likely to be sat on my own all day tomorrow? |

Silverleigh will be busy tomorrow if warm , ladies go free , there tends to be a good mix of people , to lovely gardens , the pool, the jacuzzis , the steam room and saunas , rests rooms ‘ do need a bit of a make over , saying that , great staff , great place. |

We’ve always found it a friendly place and people are generally friendly and approachable.
It may be busy on a Monday as ladies are free and this may attract a few more gents but we’ve never felt “bothered” there.
It’s principally more of a naturist than a swinger venue. |

Had a really nice time today. Weather was nice, staff and guests were friendly and facilities are great (apart from the "rest rooms" wtf are they supposed to be?" The only downside for me was being followed by 3 or 4 guys every time I went into the building to have a wee or look around (the staff were busy so I said I'd orientate myself). Literally the minute I walked through the locker area I felt like the bloody Pied Piper! Would be nice if staff discouraged this sort of harassment of single females, as some might not be as forthcoming with the "fuck off and leave me alone" that I eventually had to say to a particularly persistent guy.
All in all a really nice place, I will be going back, but with the knowledge that I'll have to deal with red towel wearing lurkers in every dark corner, who seemed to all be standing outside the "rest rooms" banging on the doors to get in and join whoever was in there. |

Sadly this reflects our experience. Michelle doesn’t enjoy it because of the wanking dead, which is a shame because it’s convenient(ish) for us, mostly friendly and the facilities aren’t bad. But it means I tend to go on my own x |

We love Silverleighs its a great place to chill & relax, unfortunately we have stoped going on Mondays or Thursdays due to exactly the behavior you describe  As it free for women on a Monday & Thursday it tends to encourage a lot of single men. Well worth trying any other day during the week  |

There was only one member of staff on Monday, where there is normally 2. Please dint be afraid to tell the staff, if they had known you were being pestered, they would have nipped it in the bud |

I think you should reconsider. I'm actually going to return, probably tomorrow if the weather looks ok. It's a really nice place, the staff were great, facilities were good, the food looked good and it has a very nice friendly feel. Yes there are lurkers, but if you're going as a couple you are less likely to be followed around like a single female is. I didn't feel threatened in any way, the guys didn't act inappropriately, they just followed me to see where I was going, with the hope of getting lucky I guess.
Also, this was just one day, I am not going to judge the place on the one and only day I went there. Being new, I probably generated some extra interest as I wasn't a familiar face, so I am going to go back, more than once and try different days before I decide if it's for me or not. I really don't think you should base your decision on my experience, like I said it's a really nice place and you should give it a go. |

We’ve been going for a couple of years fairly regularly and have had very few problems and those only very minor.

ive now taken two newbies to the club and both want to go back as soon as we can
met another new couple and they both want to go again
yes you get a few idiots but you get that on a night out in your local pub
and the staff are banning people but if they dont know they cant do anything
their are lots of lovely regulars
generally smoking near the lounge lol who will show you around ect just ask
i have been 5 times and i love it the staff are so freindly and when not rushed off their feet do the rounds
if any ladies want someone to walk round with or to go with
i can be a perfect gentle man
if you want anything else ask as i believe its a ladies call |

Pleasures isn't open during the day. If you want to use any spa facilities, none of the ones at Eurekas work, no jets in the hot tubs and steam room broken, the only thing that actually works is the showers, but apparently the night time events are reasonably well attended. All the facilities are working at Silverleighs, but I think they close at 10 or 11pm. Depends what it is you're looking for? If it's a night time party/social event you're looking for then Pleasures is the place to go, if it happens to be a sunny day then Eurekas has a lot of sunbathing areas but zero spa facilities worth using, if it's chilling out during the day and extending it to the evening then Silverleighs is a good call. |

The outside rooms at Silverleigh are much newer and better the the indoor ones. |

They are very different in my experience. Rio's always feels a bit more frenetic. Silverleigh tends to be more chilled. Both have good inside spaces, although Silverleigh once again is the more relaxed space in my opinion. The wet area at Silverleigh is a great place to lounge around and people watch. If you are making a day of it then neither has amazing catering, but either is ok at a push.
Silverleigh is much more a naturist venue which is swinger friendly than a full on swingers club. Rio's can sometimes feel a bit of a meat market, but that may just be my experience. |

Anyone going to the New Year's Eve party? I've booked a hotel a mile down the road and would appreciate a lift so I don't have to leave my car at Silverleighs and find a cab on new years day to go get it. "I'm thinking of trying Silverleighs tomorrow, their website doesn't have a great deal of info or photos of the facilities. Is it a good place to go? Am I likely to be sat on my own all day tomorrow? "
Like you, I’m curious about it but not been yet. I might go one evening after Christmas, if you fancy joining me - we could metaphorically hold each other’s hand as newbies, I’m not suggesting we’d be going as a physical couple as we don’t know each other.

I have been to silverleighs numerous times over the years. Have always found the staff to be polite and welcoming.
Some nice facilities and just somewhere to have a nice chilled out afternoon or evening.
Looking forward to the next visit

My first visit yesterday, new years day. I expected it to be quiet anyway and enjoyed relaxing in the sauna and steam rooms jacuzzi etc
Good spa facilities, very friendly staff and my overall impression is positive and I look forward to another visit.
I think just like BGHS it should be regarded by anyone reading this as a naturist club that will welcome us as swingers provided we respect and follow the rules |

she did come out for a coffee later
