Recommended learning the local language. Don't rely on the locals being able to speak English.
At least if you have a basic grasp of a language, it's a good ice breaker for expanding your vocabulary by getting the locals to teach you the more intimate words and phrases that you don't learn at school |

"Anyone know of any good clubs or places in Warsaw Poland "
‘Act’ is the best bet I think. Clean, well equipped, professionally run, friendly. ‘Lava’ is ok, a bit more basic in terms of decor etc but perfectly acceptable. Both are located in suburbs about 15-20 min cab ride from the centre. Dress code for both is dress down / nude.
In the centre, ‘Heaven’ is a male gay sauna that is open to women and m/f couples on Tuesdays (or always used to be). Very cheap, basic looking but clean. Nude, of course.
Also in the centre, ‘Bizarriusz’ is a cinema with playrooms. Very cheap, very grim and grotty, to be avoided.
‘Euphoria’, a bigger club in an outer suburb, has been saying for ages that it is about to re-open. It used to be very good.
