That is what I ended up doing... Showing my face for a bit at the social... Then going to the party night... Both were very busy....
Just recovering in bed now! Lol |

We agree with sue on this one, the amount of people that have a different version of quiet. The best way to find out what a clubs like is to go along and see as every night is different.
Perfect example for you darloguy, you thought we were quiet ish on Friday night but to us it was a good turn out as there was alot of new members and you had a good night I believe.
As long as everyone has a good night why does it matter how many people are in. |

Yes thats right Lou, quiet means absolutely nothing as some people prefer it that way anyway, especially new members. People tend to talk to each other more when there are less people.
We used to run an evening on Sundays, hardly any couples ever came (between 2-6) yet some people preferred that evening and most of them come back regularly on other nights, so being quiet didn't put them off Unfortunately we could not afford to run it when so few came along so had to knock it on the head, bit like the Thursday event we tried as well
Like Lou said, if everyone has a good time then everyone is happy... |

i think sometimes people make the assumption that "busier" seems to equate to "better"...
yes it may lead to more oppotunities, but again on a lot of occasions it is the people who go who make the night.....
I have had some of my best nights out in clubs where I haven't played as such, but just chatted and chatted and the nights have flown by....... |

We find that's the same for us Sue. New members don't like busy as it puts them off, people need a choice of clubs to goto. In the north east they now have two clubs that are very different in there own ways. We always say to people to try clubf as we have been going for year and love the place. If they want big and busy it's gotta be your theme parties, if they want a bit quieter and not as big our parties are just as good.
Clubs are not what they used to be 5 or 6 year ago. People might laugh but we would like to come to clubf more often but due to us been open the same nights its not possible. But this just proves that two clubs can get on and work together, not against each other x |

That's right Fabio, they think if its busy there is more chance of fun and its not the case, we have had nights with 30 or 40 people and no one have gone to,a room, but then we have had nights with 8 or 10 of us and all ended up in one room lol x |
