I'm thinking of going to the attic for the first time on Friday 8th September during the day.

Does anyone know if it's worth going on during the day and if it has a decent turn out?

As mentioned 11am till 5pm is TV & admirers day, even if its not quite your thing maybe worth still checking out the club.

Friday evening is club night 7pm till 1am (latest) singlemales entry from 8pm and last entry is 11pm.
