Attic Nights, where do people who travel stop over?

"Sorry being from derby I wouldn’t recommend that hotel currently.
I would say any of the hotels on pride park are good and are reasonably priced if booked in advance "
I stayed in Derby twice this week. Just the way it worked out. I booked the stuart for them all as it was close to station..
And to the attic.
After my first night there I said noway am I staying there for the weekend so cancelled my second booking and went to the Leonardo Hotel (Jurys Inn).
Same price, far better standard just a bugger to get to the station. Taxi required.
The rooms in the stuart looked a bit shabby and there was mold on the bath in the bathroom. But worst of all they had the heat full blast on in the hotel and corridor and this entered the bedroom so it was like a sauna. I thought the heater was on in my room at first but it was switched off.
So my advice is avoid the stuart. |

Out of interest, why wouldn't you recommend the Stuart Hotel arctge moment? I've just booked a few nights there at the end of August so hoping I haven't made a mistake? I still have time to cancel if needs be. |

We stayed at the Stuart twice in 2021 after clubs reopened. It's dated but clean enough. They weren't doing breakfast in the restaurant but a breakfast bag delivered to your room, don't if that's still the case. We've stayed recently at the Travelodge and the Holiday Inn Express on Pride Park, both clean hotels, though £5 to park. The Stuart is free parking and nearer to the current Attic. Not sure about others, after a club night we just want a comfy clean bed to kip (and whatever else!) in, we wouldn't be worrying about a bit of mould around the bath as we're not living there. We would stay at The Stuart and any of the Hotels on Pride Park again. |

We used to stay in either the HI Express or Penta both in Pride Park but recent prices have seen them double HI Express from £67 to £125 per night that's quite a jump. Never tried Air BNB it's a new one on us but we will look into it |

We usually stay at the Stewart some rooms are dated but we managed to have a nice room once. Just remember the room number and after booking call the hotel and request that room. As for breakfast Brenda’s cafe right next door to the hotel is recommended. They now charge a small fee for the car park at the rear. Taxi fare is a £5 to the club. Only problem this year is the prices fluctuate from £50 to somtimes over a £100. We are always on the look out for another hotel but if you pay for a cheaper hotel you lose out in taxi fares. |

Can't beat a Premier Inn. Immaculately clean every visit and breakfast (all you can eat) is amazing. Premier Inn everytime for us two. We are so looking forward to breakfast this Saturday morning, just what we'll need after our Friday night in the club |
