Thinking of dipping our toe into the club world.
Absolutely no idea what to expect. Neither of us are particularly extrovert and we only want to play together for now.
Where would be a good quiet intro and what nights?
The attic, purple mamba and Pandora are all within comfortable distance
Thanks for any advice |

If you have never been to a club before either then, what we would recommend is a club that doesn’t have membership fee. As then if you don’t like the club sense you haven’t spent a lot or committed to something. A good club for this is the Attic in derby.
Also don’t go on a Saturday party night as it’s to over the top for newbies.
We would say go on the second Friday or Saturday evening after party night when last people but enough to find your feet and have fun if you want to.
Plus know each other’s play boundaries before you go that’s mega important.
Plus the attic is open day times to Tuesday-Thursday but the rooms are locked open
Hope this helps |

Yes thank you. The attic was one we’d looked at.
What are Friday nights like?
We’d be quite happy to go on a “boring” night |

We've not been to the attic ourselves
Pandoras is massive , great on a party night , but can be a lonely place on a normal night
You haven't mentioned quest ?
A nice club , big enough but not to big
Purple mamba , only small , but a totally different place to most clubs
Well recommended by us both |

Rochdale/Manchester/Blackpool and were ever the mood takes me |
Club play in Blackpool doesn't do memberships and single ladies gave FREE entrance at all times.
Visit a Fri or Sat night a d they will give you FREE entrance to the Sunday as well |

If you don't mind going a bit further, as already mentioned, xtasia is a good starter.
We started at chameleons in Darlaston and that remains our favourite so far with xtasia and Pandora not far behind. That said, as has already been said here, Pandora is massive and you can feel a bit lost if it's quiet, whereas party nights may be a tad too full on for your first ever visit.
My advice would be to not tar them all with the same brush if your first isn't the place for you and to keep trying others. |

Thanks. Sounds good advice |

How do cocker.
My suggestion would be Purple Mamba. It's big enough to care, but small enough not to get overwhelmed. Also Amanda and Chris will make sure you're well looked after, and the clientele there is fabulous - some great couples and just the right balance of single guys so you're not followed around like the pied piper.
Say that DJ Dave sent you...and that I'll see them soon!
Good luck and have a fab time! |

Stupid question time.
What’s the ratio of singles guys to single girls to single couples.
My probably false perception is that’s it’s going to be full of single guys |

Depends on the club and the event in question. But the attic for most of there events over weekends is 1 single male to a couple or single female. ( it works well) |

Really? I’m surprised at that
