Eureka naturist club.

Has anyone been to Eureka naturist club? Is it naturist and swinging? Just swinging? Just naturist?

Myself and my partner are naturists, and I always get very horny when I'm naked and would love to be somewhere that I could just start sucking him off or sit on his face with people around and not get kicked out. Also we have discussed another guy joining us in great detail, so this could be a potential place for that to happen. Would like to know if you have been, is it a nice place, sexy? Seedy? Mainly men/women? Let me know, TIA xxx

Away with the fairies (Liverpool to you)

Watching with interest. Wifey and I are also naturists. It’s something I grew with, it’s the natural way to be for us .

Obviously we’re also swingers and have been for 10 years or more. Unfortunately naturism and swinging don’t usually mix well which is a shame.

You’ll get plenty of attention on the field outside. Lots of couples and singles love playing if anything encourage.

Let me know when you’re planning a visit x

Some Fridays it's busy. We only go maybe 4 times a year. It's a nice chilled atmosphere with a bit of playing and nakedness. We then do pleasures on a Saturday.

OP, if you're looking for somewhere to get naked and have some fun outdoors (when the mood takes you), try Lux Lounge on the grounds of VA? They are open during the day on Saturdays and Sundays, weather permitting. And they allow single men in.

Is the pool heated this year?

Reply privately (closed, thread got too big)

By (user no longer on site)  over a year ago

No it was not heated and also it was not freezing cold when we was there but it was on a hot day so was nice to cool off after some sunbathing as the pool is outside direct in the sun..

Though once in it was nice to be in and there were quite a few in it throughout they day so they seemed to enjoyed it too but I am not sure if it is heated on other days? x

Much prefer DV8 for nude tanning, playing in the forest and a hot water-filled swimming pool, and best of all, it is all discreetly hidden away behind the M2 - Medway Services

Yeah dv8 is better if you want to play in the woods, but eureka is awesome for the sunbathing element!

Hopefully see some of you there this Friday?

We go to Eureka fairly regularly.

What you propose is very acceptable in the lower field or in the playrooms.

The upper field and the pool area is for naturist sunbathing and socialising and play is discouraged.

The woods can also be a lot of fun.

There’s a hardcore of ex members that jump on every thread with Eureka mentioned and they’ll be along shortly to slag the place off again no doubt.

Pick a nice warm day and the grounds of Eureka cannot be beaten.

Enjoy. X

Eurekas is perfect for what you want they have a couples only area in the lower field so you can play with single guys watching behind a rope or if you want someone to join you stay just outside the couples only area.

We love sunbathing naked then playing whenever the mood takes us x

Saw them last time. Instead of just watching a free show, they actually bring binoculars with them and creep up to people who were playing, wanking and spying through their binoculars, which just makes them dirty old pervert in my opinion. Put us off playing ourselves.

So apart from the hot tubs not working and the pool not being heated what exactly has changed about Eureka recently.

I’ll ask again, do the single guys no longer do the conga everytime a couple go into the woods.

We’ve been to many clubs and Eureka is by far the worse when it comes to the behaviour of single guys.

Why do you take offence at criticism of the club.

We do frequent Eureka for the sun, ( by the pool) and the lower field ( as we are both partial for some outdoor fun in the sun ) and ouch for a couple negatives, which we appreciate would cost a considerable sum of money ( the pool and huts ) the other is simple focusing on delivering service in a manner to meet the expected needs of customers . Our patronage will continue ..

It’s interesting that you say that. Your opinion is basically if you don’t like it just shut up and don’t go and let people who do, go and enjoy it.

I actually respect that opinion.

However I do only respect that point of view from people who practice what they preach.

On another post you said that organised charity was a con and it was a mugs game if you donated to any charity. Completely disrespecting both people who donate and people who are benefiting (literally as I type this I am one of those people) from the fantastic job that we feel these charities do.

Perhaps if your other posts were on the lines of “I completely respect what others do but it’s not for me” then you wouldn’t get the grief that you get on here.

Like you say “follow the green arrow.”

Whilst I cannot argue with what you might have seen, in my experience of visiting over 37 years i have never seen anyone taking binoculars there even for looking at the birds.

Now that it has been mentioned, it could catch on big time.

Phones, of course, can be put to extremely dishonest use, which is why they are rightly banned and never ever seen in use. Unlike, apparently, binoculars. I keep meaning to take some so I can get a better view when the Spitfire comes over the pool. Will pack some today, thanks for the reminder!

It is, indeed remarkable that the idea has not caught on and become widespread before. Especially since some couples prefer to distance themselves beyond the now famous rope.

There's nothing like publicity for a good idea!

Last time we were playing in the bottom field (sans rope) a guy spectating and trying to get up close for a feel was wearing shorts and a t shirt!

We found that a bit offensive to be honest when everyone else was bollocko.

I’ll ask again, do the single guys no longer do the conga everytime a couple go into the woods.

We’ve been to many clubs and Eureka is by far the worse when it comes to the behaviour of single guys.

Why do you take offence at criticism of the club.

Just balancing out all the negative energy one comment at a time.

As I said….

Just follow the green arrow.

All the way to the admittance that some haven’t visited the club for years

We’ll be out there today.

Enjoying the lovely warm sunshine in the beautiful grounds and woodlands with all the happy positive people.

Have a great day

Ah see…

You’re starting from a position where you believe that I may care about your opinion.

I’m just pleased that you’ve wasted a little time slagging me off for a change instead of trying to ruin someone’s business "

You believe wrong then. I was simply pointing out your hypocritical nature. You criticise charities in general that you don’t donate to but don’t think that anyone should have an opinion on a business that they have previously used.

I have made it clear many many times that I would love Eureka to succeed. But I think it will only do that if it changes.

My only interest is as a person who previously enjoyed visiting. But then now I have my own property with a pool, hot tub and 40 acres of land (not a naturist or swinging business and not anywhere near Eureka)so I’m interested in it as a business owner.

I hate to see any business fail but I know from my vast experience that you must listen to your unhappy customers. Otherwise your business will shrink- and that’s definitely been proven in this case- and it’s a real shame.

Think the Eureka management have been doing a pretty good job of ruining their own business.

As relatively recent visitors you have no perspective.

You don’t understand how good the club once was.

The thing I don't understand is that if Eureka is so good and doing so well why aren't the facilities being fixed and or maintained, and why isn't the heated outdoor pool being heated? Surely if the club is that good then the owner/tenant/manager can afford to fix facilities and actually provide what they say they can. The fact that they don't offer these things says that the club the exact opposite to what has been said on here by some people. You can't have it always, of course it could just be a simple case of being mislead for financial gain.

My assumption would be a reluctance to invest in a venue that is soon to be demolished. Take the hit on reputational damage and squeeze every pound out of the current facilities. That's a very cynical outlook but it would seem a logical. After all usually it can take a couple of years before you see return on investment or major maintenance.

My advice to you would be don’t take an annual membership.

You do seem to be very upset at criticism that is absolutely nothing to do with you.

See…

You just can’t help yourself.

Negativity and putting the business down again whilst attempting to silence anyone that speaks up for the place.

I have no investment in the club.

I don’t know the manager or owner anymore than I know the manager and owner of the gym that I attend.

I don’t feel a need to know them.

I go to sunbathe naked in one of the very few places in the country that it’s allowed.

I won’t stand by silently and let someone make every effort to have one of the few swingers clubs in the country closed down for good because of their own historical bitterness.

Have a lovely evening.

It’s been glorious being naked and free in the sun.

You should try it sometime.

There you go again. You think a few messages on here can close the place down. You can obviously see it’s struggling.

A much heralded party last week resulted in the arrangers taking time out to consider their options.

When you say try it sometime, we first went to Eueraka 27 years ago.

Myself, as someone that went probably around 500 times over a 5 year period prior to 2019 would share the opinions of others when I say it is unfortunately a shadow of its former glory

As someone already said, can you blame the club for staying open to make some money before it’s demolished ? Can you blame them not wanting to sink loads of cash in ?

Of course not

I think it’s great that you are loving it there now and that you can enjoy it

I totally get what you’re saying and agree it is a shame and yes we hear how great it used to be very often when we visit and are saddened that we’ll never experience that.

I take issue though with a certain few that literally cannot help but jump on every single thread with Eureka in the title to criticise every aspect of the club and the current management.

There is a hate campaign being run on some historical agenda sadly and it irritates me that they are trying to hasten the clubs demise for their own selfish reasons.

We’ll continue to enjoy the club as long as we can with love and positivity though thank you.

There seems to be a confusion between criticism, and the facts.

The cold hard facts are unrefutable

The club has a limited future because of the agreed planning permission.

Consequently no one is going spend significantly to improve the tired facilities.

The club is not as busy as it used to be, probably because of changes imposed by management and / or covid impact and / or other local clubs upping their own game.

As a setting for summer relaxation and sunbathing with some outdoor fun it is hard to beat.

There are wanking dead, but they populate any club.

Have we been there? Yes many times.

Will we go back again? Possibly.

What does it need to do better?

Communication and transparency about its future. Simply acknowledging openly that it may not have a long time left, and that whilst it is open there are limitations is a start.

Maybe cheaper entry on party nights, the profit is made over the bar and like any leisure venue it is a volume business! So you need footflow.

And actually, welcome 'feedback', embrace it, respond to it positively, even if you can't change what they are maybe critical of.

And finally, get off the 'everyone is against us bandwagon.' People's opinions are valid, as ultimately they impact on the business. So don't fight them, get them on side.

Have a great evening.

100% agree with this.

However I also agree with Dora & Diego. Some comments from former members, supposedly recalling former glories, underline their frustration that they are no longer the favourite of the management.

For what it's worth, my experience of the eureka glory days, was that it could be very clicky, and that if you were in with the management you were ok.

Perhaps what some of the old guard are experiencing can be viewed with a sense of schadenfreude..

The club was very clicky. Mike the short bloke who was the manager. Was a knob, which didn't help. He was full of himself.so many hanger ons, was its downfall. Well before the new people took over. Only my opinion. I have been going to eureka for about 30 years now and there is no other club which can match the outside space. Love the place.but I do wish the new owners would tell us all how long we have got until eureka is no more. Some reassurance would be nice. Plus we can have one hell of a party when is dose close. This was not a simple planning permission like building an extension on your house.

It involved the impact on woodland, wildlife etc. very complex.

Once PP was granted it takes time to get contractors lined up, and you want to break ground in good weather so timing just feels right.

If the club is apparently closing , why has it been reported in kentonline that eureka is holding and all day event on the 15th July, which had to have permission from the council in aid of "Good Vibrations Kent Launch Party" as the start of new begginings for eureka ?

Firstly, permission has to be taken in context, that being that they applied for a licence in order to hold the event. The application was initially objected to by the police.

Having just read the aforementioned article, it would appear that the council have been mislead by the clubs management. They are claiming to be naturist club and they are quoted as saying they don't affiliate themselves with swingers parties, which we all know isn't true. This is simply another case of the management playing fast and loose with the truth.

The bigger question is why would anyone go through such a lengthy and expensive planning application if they didn't plan on building the houses for which the planning permission has been granted? This simply makes no sense at all.

Because no business is going to publicly give advance warning of its closing date as it will still be trying to maximise income up to the time it finally closes its door.

A one off event, which is what this is does not herald a new dawn.

The 'new eureka' could easily be a housing development.

And the ONLY concrete facts are irrefutable, there is planning permission granted for housing.

No one will go through the trouble and expense to obtain that without having the intention to proceed.

The only unknown, is when, not if it will close. And understandsbly, although frustratingly, management will keep that to themselves.

And tbh, kentonline is possibly the least reliable source anyway, they keep emailing me that the next snowstorm and / or heatwave is imminent lol.

Just read the article.. I did laugh when reading …and I quote “ It’s still a naturist venue, we don’t affiliate ourselves in any way with swingers’ parties.

“It’s never an event of a sexual nature, even though we are a naturist venue this has all been about the licensing – and we don’t hold a sex licence.

“We don’t have any events of a sexual nature as such down there, it’s just because of the fact that it’s naturist, people get confused as to what that actually means and might make assumptions”

Worth a read… if people are into that sort of thing then go along and have a blast… granted it’s the best place to go for a naked chill on a hot summers day

"It’ll close end of august but they aren’t telling people or being honest

As soon as that ?

Makes sense as I should imagine the developers want to crack on as it’s taken them years to actually get planning approval

Would not surprise me at all.

Once PP was granted it takes time to get contractors lined up, and you want to break ground in good weather so timing just feels right.

A massive shame, but it has had its day.

No doubt '_ovebirdsupnorth' will be along soon to deny or ignore everything lol

It is very sad

We met at Eureka 8 years ago

And let’s face it , any swinging / naturist club shutting is sad as there really isn’t that many around "

I do remember when the parties were huge there they did try last year with free member nights but it never got busy

That’s what they claim in the interview. Apparently it never has been. People just get confused over what a naturist club is.

I'm confused because I'm sure I've seen loads of people having sex there and I'm pretty sure they advertise sex parties all the time!

Do you think its possible they weren't exactly being honest with there licence application?

It’s a completely bizarre claim Hundreds, if not thousands know the truth.

When we first went in the nineties it was predominantly a naturist club with discreet sex happening in the woods etc.

when we last went it was the other way around. Definitely a swingers club.

Can the usual mouthpieces confirm that eureka is purely naturist and raving? Because we know the club is so keen that those who attend follow the many rules and regulations (don't bring your own drink to a cabin etc) and I'm sure nobody would want to risk being caught having sex.

It’s purely naturist- anyone who says otherwise is just “confused!” “We don’t have any events of a sexual nature!”

So apparently all the people who were on here saying how good it is now and lots going on in the field etc were all lying!

Was that within view of the mandatory CCTV cameras they have a part of the their license according to KentOnline? Wonder how many they have got and where.

I remember a sex cinema having license problems and having to have CCTV to stay open to ensure it was just a place for viewing films rather than sex. That would be easier to manage than the sprawling Eureka.

We believe that positively comes from truth and honesty. We frequently offer positive comments on venues and subjects that we feel deserve it.

Unfortunately, Eureka doesn't fall into the realms of what we class as truthful and honest. Honestly we find this a shame and in turn brings the club scene into disrepute. There are many great clubs in the UK and yes eureka was one of these but those days have gone. The club will be closing in order to build houses on the site, this is a fact. The only question is when this will happen? As we have said on several occasions, one of these days a sign will go up on the gates that says Closed and that will be that.

As for the club not holding sex parties, well that's just ludicrous.

Honestly we don't care if people have sex at the club or not but you can't say you aren't a sex club when you advertise and run sex parties!

To the management, try being honest with people instead of hiding behind your wall of silence.

But Eureka management have said categorically that it is a clothes optional naturist club.

No sexual activity takes place and no swingers parties take place.

That’s to a media outlet, the local council and police.

Think this rave might be the last gasp for them.

Some of the posts I have read on here are just not in touch with current reality and are just from bitter Eureka haters.

I am confident that the police and council are well aware of what goes on at Eureka and have personal experiences that give me that confidence.

What they are doing there this weekend is something they should have been doing for a long time as I believe the place has MUCH more potential than recent previous use however I do think there might be a bit of a clash between the festival goers and the naturists. I guess it depends on the numbers that attend but I wouldnt want to be one of maybe ten naturists in a field of possibly a hundred or more festival goers no matter how much of an exibitionist I was! The good vibrations society seems like a nice bunch of openminded people that enjoy all sorts of things from drumming workshops to yoga and healing therapy to a good party, all things which the grounds at Eureka are perfect for! It sounds a bit like a modern day Woodstock festival or a more openminded version of Glastonbury to me! The (new) events manager has done a great job at opening the venue to them, its a bit of a shame the weather might put a dampener on it.

And before anyone asks yes I know the events manager is the owners son and no I wont be attending the party. Eureka as it used to be is long gone never to return and there will never be another place like it but I also think that it will be a great party there this weekend.

Indeed, Uncle P, like you, many of us remember a local councillor who used to be a very regular attendee at the the club (in his spare time, of couse).

He appeared to have a mutually beneficial relationship with the previous owner including, not the least, enjoying free refreshments at the counter.

He has not been seen post covid and certainly not during the current ownership.

Likewise, I wish tomorrow's venture well but i have a horrible feeling that the weather has other plans.

Ok, having seen these threads so many times...

Used to be great, proper buzzing busy, cheap bring your own great nights.

Isnt the case anymore. True. But when the sun is shining, its a great spot. Ok, so the pool isnt heated. The hot tubs are apparently now hot baths. They worked when i was there a short while ago.

Are other places better? Possibly, matter of opinion i'd say.

Wanking zombies, be real, Every club has them and like every club a polite leave off pal usually works.

I will agree with one previous early comment about playing in the lower field and being approached by a fully clothed chap, who we reported to staff and they dealt with.

Eurekas has its haters and lovers. It isnt what it once was and never will be but i will renew my membership when it expires as the sunbathing and its location to me is hard to beat.

And this doesnt mean i wont try other places and perhaps even prefer them to eurekas. I am a firm believer in, if you wanna try somewhere, go and make your own mind up.

"Did anyone go to the festival this weekend?

We went along for a few hours in the evening as we were in the area - it was enjoyable enough as a rave/dance event, but as a swingers/ naturist event it didn’t seem to be working. Very crowded with young lads and girls. Some of the lasses had dressed up sexily but it was mainly just like a regular rave scene. Not really our thing. We stripped off and spent a while in the jacuzzi with a couple of guys who had also come expecting a different vibe but we didn’t hang about for very long. It was quite chilly outside but by the time we left it seemed like the party was going well. One of the staff was kind enough to approach us as we were going, saying that they hoped we weren’t too disappointed and that we’d come back on a regular night, so that was a nice touch. Maybe things got more interesting later and hopefully the event was a financial success but not what we hoped it would be.

Probably not telling the local press and council it's not a swinging venue helps too if you want to attract swingers

I have been twice with two different girls during couples night. Couples only entrance from 7 to midnight as far as I remember. There were still few extra guys around. Maybe then came in just before seven pm.

Both my girls were able to have oral fun with 5 - 10 people and full session with others in private room.

After midnight as couples were disappearing and lots of single males were coming in.

In the end it felt like 60 guys and one female. Too hostile.

Probably during usual days some story. I would suggest going during couples night.

You won't be having any form of sex anymore. Eureka is a sex free zone!

That sounds a bit more realistic.

Eureka would not have hosted a couples only night which then opened for singles after midnight. However, I can remember Rios being couples only on a Saturday evening and then accepting singles after midnight, effectively until Sunday morning breakfast time, when it then closed for a while. It was a great way to avoid overnight accommodation costs after a night out in London, having missed the last train home.
