The last few times I’ve been on a Friday have been very disappointing. I like it when’s there’s a ratio of women to men but it hasn’t been that way for a while now. Anyone thinking of going Friday? X |

I probably wouldn't go on a Friday daytime again. There were 4 women & 20+ men. It was relaxing & I enjoyed chatting to people but wasn't too keen on being followed around by a couple of gentlemen old enough to be my Dad  |

We used to go a lot, it's still a great place for the actual spa elements, even if you don't go to hook up.
We've just been a little put off by the price increases again, it's a long way for me especially and it just makes it a bit worse unless you can do almost the whole day there.
Later opening would make it more attractive to us again. |

What confidence do you need? You've signed up for Fab, haven't you?
Basically, you go to the spa, pay your entrance money, strip off and put your clothes in a locker, and go and enjoy the spa / jacuzzi / steam room / saunas.
Going alone shouldn't affect your reasoning or behaviour one jot.
Unless, of course, you have an unusual physical quirk that you're shy about - three penises? A clitoris on your toes? A birthmark on your arse that looks like Martin Clunes?

It's great isn't it?
I am somewhat oversized, but have been going to Brighton / Southwick naturist beaches for over 30 years. I am not a fan of my body - I am hardly Adonis - but I also really don't give a toss what anyone else thinks of my body. They haven't earned the right to comment.
It's with that view that I strip off on the beach or head to BGHS full in the knowledge that no-one is there to be judged.
Glad you are comfortable there. Looking at your profile pics, it's possible we have met. Maybe hope to catch up in there sometime. |

Yes they do, you are always going to find it men heavy. That being said there are rules and they are enforced. |

The last time I went, nov 22 there where three single women in and tbh, all the guys were respectful and what I could see, the ladies were comfortable.. if yr down this coming Thursday and want a chaperone.. I’d be more than happy  |

Then you have all afternoon until 6pm both Saturday and Sunday. There are women there during those times who are interested in single men. You really aren't missing out, it's not a sex club, couples play with couples not singles and not an orgy. |

Exactly.
On a week day singles can stay all day, at weekends it's till 6. It's not an issue around the spa, assuming that you're not pestering people, to be using the facilities without your partner. It becomes an issue in the rest rooms and often in the spa because that single person starts pestering people and not understanding why no one's happy to see them.
I'll stress, this isn't a crusade or an attack, just trying to give an observation and perspective for singles to consider before going. |

We are very much the same, bghs is a special place and we try an go once a month (despite being 2 hours away!!) on a Saturday. We spa until couples only time and then will head to the restrooms for some play.
We only play during couples time because we can relax and not feel uncomfortable when a bunch of single guys follow us around just on the off chance we might play. Were not saying all single men are badly behaved, because that isn't true, and we know some lovely single blokes in the lifestyle. But they are in the minority in our experience.
That's why bghs is amazing, a couples only spa space on the weekend where we can relax and where the owners don't stand for any nonsense! |

You get abit of everything there from singles and couples .
Everyone normally gets on and no dramas but I have seen a chap pester 2 single ladies and he was asked to leave .
Sometimes you get 1 or 2 that gives single blokes a bad name !
It’s a case of be polite , give people space and know when you haven’t got a chance in hell |

you can park pretty much directly outside. The last time we went, the meters weren't working so had to pay on an app on our phone.

We love BGHS! Such a calm, chilled, relaxing place. Generally go on the weekends during the couples only. Chatting to couples in the sauna, pool or jacuzzi's is always nice.
Been followed around by singles outside of the couples only which has been annoying.
The playrooms are nice and good to have some naughty fun with likeminded couples. |

Lovely venue to relax and unwind, hopefully be there tomorrow (Sunday) for a few hours in the afternoon. Always a great atmosphere and pleasant people in attendance! |

Had a great time at BGHS last night. It was our first time, but we’ll definitely be back. Great facilities, well run and some very sexy couples. The open play room was a very welcome surprise (and was well used all night) x |

I have to be honest and say that this thread has put us off BGHS a little.
No judgement, as obviously we are swingers, but we weren't at all thinking of the Spa as a kind of Swinger's Club. Yet some in this thread have implied that we all know what it's *really* about.
Do we? Because we were actually looking forward to a naturist place, which can be a completely different mindset. If we do almost accidentally turn each other on - because I'm only human after all - we can go to the rooms. But that is not at all why we're going and I'm not anticipating seeing anyone and thinking PHWOAR!

The rest areas are perfect if you do find yourselves getting turned on. However the rest of the spa is absolutely lovely for relaxing and just getting away from the real world for a few hours. The staff are very strict and inforce their policy of no naughtyness in the PSA area (of which there are 3 and a half floors of)
Best way to find out, is to go for yourselves. We personally love it there and always go without the expectation of we are going to have naughty fun and just see how the time goes. |

We get that, and that ambiguity is why Michelle hates Silverleigh (also the wanking dead and the run down feel). BGHS is a beautiful spa and the play areas are very separate so it’d be impossible to stumble on them by accident. Unusually there’s no sense it’s anything other than a proper naturist spa on the lower floors. It’s certainly more ‘swinger’ than we’d expected, but it’s brilliantly run, clean, the facilities are great and we’ll certainly be back! |

have to agree with other posters , naughty stuff does go on at BGHS , but it is contained and it is perfectly possible to not even be aware of it .
Very much like quite a few other naturist venues , if you go without any expectations of anything happening you can just bask in the atmosphere and enjoy being nude in company of others .
if you meet someone that you get along with you can indulge but it's not the primary function of the place .
Wife and i go with one eye open just in case , but go to relax without the pressure and expectations of a swinging club .. Its so much more relaxed !

The staff are very strict and on the ball when it comes to anything sexual anywhere other than in the rest room area.
I was there yesterday and witnessed a couple having a hands on soapy shower together and got warned to stop or they would be asked to leave and whilst lying in the sauna we heard a heated discussion between a staff member and a guy who was wanking watching us through the window literally lying there doing sod all… this gentleman in person was told to leave.
Remember the signs in swimming pools that had the ‘no petting’ rule… well, silverleigh has this too.
If you’re wanting a naturist experience then this is the spa to go too. It has 3.5 floors all accessed by one curved staircase (no lifts so not suitable for disabled)
The LG floor houses the spa area (pool, saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzi and hot tubs.
The G floor has the reception, lockers, changing areas, a small snug chill out area with a tv (not showing porn) and sofa, little cafe with sofas and table and chairs.
1st floor has the private and open ‘rest rooms’ accessed through a door on the right and to the left another chill out area (not a ‘rest room’) with stairs leading up to the sun terrace and yet another chill out area (again, not a ‘rest room’.
Yes people forget the rules or try to bend them but they do hold a high risk of being caught and told to leave.. the staff are always walking around making sure the rules are adhered too. |

Just a word to the wise- they're bath towels, not bath sheets. I'm a chunky size 16 and there's just enough towel to wrap around & tuck in!! I guess it doesn't really matter, but if I'm sat in the cafe, I'd prefer not to have to hold it to stop it pinging off my boobs! Lol!!
