It's an open themed fancy dress night.

Who's going? Who's going in fancy dress?

You don't have to dress up, but it adds to the craic! (We love a bit of craic )

We'll be there at 8pm to start our shift, see you there

It's uniform party so yes basically it can be most outfits.

I will not be able to make this one.

I noticed a comment from people attending this weekend saying how hot it was in the club again. We can remember a few nights last year where the heat was almost unbearable. Looking at next weeks forecast, it’s going to be another hot one, is there anything that club can do to bring the temperature down? I don’t think I’ve ever seen windows open, is this at all possible?

The fans help a little but we aren’t planning on sitting in front of them all night

Most of the rooms have a fan in. At the same time last year we were in the mirrored room with a fan on, it was warm but just about bearable. The coolest part of the club we believe is the far end (Amsterdam rooms and Dungeon). Not sure that any club's open windows due to the noise? Let's hope they've got them big fans on and plenty of them

The building the club is currently operating from is an old mill which like most British buildings is designed to retain heat.

Sadly some windows are now seized and the building owner is reluctant to carry out some repair work due to the redevelopment work they will undertake after the club moves.

The club also has to be mindful of the local regulations it must adhere to regarding what can be seen from the outside of the club. And as mentioned noise pollution is also something that has to be considered.

The heating has been off for a few weeks now.

The last two weekends all fans have been in operation prior to opening and openable windows opened where possible. And the portable air conditioning units also were in operation.

This weekend will be the same.

Be mindful to dress for the heat (but still within the clubs dress code) and stay hydrated.

Thank you for the explanation, that makes perfect sense.

We will need to strip off sooner!

Make sure there is plenty of ice behind the bar

Don't be worrying about any sausage rolls, concentrate on the sausages

Hi is there anything else men can wear apart from trousers/jeans? A little worried tomorrow night the club will be really warm after reading a review from last week. Can shorts be worn at all?

You only really need to arrive in smart clothes (or themed). After that pop those clothes in the locker and walk around in a thong and flip flops. Job done.

Tailored shorts can be warn, I.e. not sport shorts, with smart formal footwear (I.e. no trainers or leisure wear footwear) unless, like tonight, it's part night and they suit the theme of your (fancy dress)

It was great fun. And even though hot was actually a good thing as people moved around outside and back in but meant it felt like a more social night.

Had a lot of fun in dungeon and school room.

A bit late. I wear my utility Kilt. Great for coolness and it comes off easily and has pouches??

It was a great night, a bit hot but bearable with with all the big fans on. Most of the playrooms were taken by 11pm so not to hot too play for most! There were so many hot people adding to the heat! Thanks to all the staff for their great work
