Hello all. I’m visiting Leics over the weekend and have just joined Amigos Club. I have never been before but have been to other clubs in the Midlands. What is it like for single ladies? I’m a little nervous coming on my own to a club I don’t really know. I’m trying to ascertain the dress code for the evening. Do ladies go dressed up or do they dress down as soon as they arrive and change into lingerie ? All help will be gratefully received. Xxxx

When I was there last week there was a mixture of both. When you arrive you'll probably see people in the bar and make your mind up from there

Amigos is a very relaxed and informal club. Its got a friendly social club kind of vibe. There's normally a few regular single ladies and ladies from couples who go. They are friendly sorts and I'm sure you'd be well received and made to feel at home.

As to dress you really have the freedom to dress as you like. You can stay in your outside clothes, lingerie, a towel or completely naked. Our just change dress as feel during the night. There's generally a mix of dress in the club, no judgment, just dress as you feel. Mrs Misfit is quite comfortable rocking her birthday suit there (to the extent people freak out if they ever see her clothed). I would say in general most women as the night goes on wear lingerie. However you'll be made to feel at home in whatever you like to wear.

Also just to note the entrance is very discrete and Bedford Street is a dark back street. So it may look like there's nothing down there but it is there. There is a sign next to the door on the wall (and you may hear the laughter from inside as you get near).

And of course clubs are subjective to the individual and just at the mercy of who's there on the night you visit. If it turns out not for you you're in the centre of Leicester and great night life is just outside of the door of the club. So with free membership and free entry you've nothing to lose.

Hope you have a great night

Thank you so much both, that had helped immensely. I’m quite looking forward to coming along, trying a different club. A little out my comfort zone. You may see me sitting in the corner somewhere like a lost puppy hehe xx

I believe it is not licensed and you take your own alcohol. Do they put it behind the bar for you like in other unlicensed clubs? X

I'm sure that you won't be sat alone for long. They're a very friendly bunch. I'd never been before last week and folk chatted with me. You'll have a great time
