Hi all, we have never had the pleasure of going to a club, and we aren't sure how we would be recieved! I am Average size and my F partner is big and beautiful and worries (no matter how much I tell her otherwise) that she would not be accepted at a swingers club. I mean it also puts my heart in my throat thinking of being at a club naked publicly but it is mainly her mind I would like to put at rest. Also where would you all recommend as a good start if we are surrey based? Thanks all xx |

And can we rightly assume that body shaming is not a thing that usually happens at swingers clubs? It's nice to hear that there is a good mix of people in them though. Would a couples or BBW night as someone else suggested be a good night to start on? |

I’ve been to several different clubs at all different sizes, including at my largest and always have been received very well |

There are lots of events specifically for BBW's and those who admire them. Curvy club in Sutton is one. If you are looking for some reassurance, try a social. London Surrey social is good, two birds with one stone as you get to socialise and see a club at the same time. |

"Thanks, that is very reassuring. We have become alot more body confident since starting this lifestyle but this has always seemed like the most daunting jump x"
Have a look at sally’s social profile… LondonSurreysocials x |

"Thanks, both of you we will have to check it out. When you say it gives you an experience of both does it have a solely social area as well as playrooms then? X"

She holds them in different places.. but her abfabs is club based… and it’s a great venue with large indoor pool and numerous rooms.
Have a look at the club on google x |

And yes… social areas with licensed bar, a pool table with seating areas plus an area for play at the back of the room plus numerous other rooms. Was an old David Lloyd gym premises so a large venue well presented with lockers, showers and open and private rooms |

I completely understand why your Mrs is worried OP - getting your kit off is intimidating! However I have never been made to feel crap when at a club…as others have said there are a range of different sizes. Age ranges also isn’t a problem. And you can always agree between you to leave whenever you like - this really helped my partner when he first went with me. You’ll love it! |

Really from our experience of the club scene over the years size and body shape really isn't a big deal. You generally find people are far more intrested in you as individuals than what your dress size is. We are not small people and it's never been a problem. There's no fatties in one corner and the beautiful people in the other. Everyone is lovely and size isn't a thing. Naturally we all have different tastes to what is attractive and size for some does factor into that. But character and personality are King. So remember being worried about your body is always going to far more a barrier to you than your actual shape and size is. So just go, be yourselves and be free. You'll realise you are just as fine and sexy as everybody else.
As for getting your kit off once you do it's no big thing. We are naturist out side of scene too. We know what that initial apprehension is like. But we also know that once you do get naked with others how normal and free it feels. You question how it was once such a scary prospect. Naturally the common place most people try being naked with others for the first time in a club is the hot tub. So once you've found your feet in a club definitely recommend stripping off and going for a dip. Not only a apt opportunity to try being naked with others but also a great space to get to socialise and meet new people. |

There are plenty of curvy and bbw events. Theres absolute zero body shaming at these events. I can assure you once you’ve been to a club night, you will love it, and it will give you the confidence to go again. X |

Just from personal experience we prefer non bbw events. BBW events the focus is on the shape and size. Also there's a different vibe and attitude. And we've seen some of the most disrespectful behaviours at the events we've been to. So we concluded for us we prefer just a standard club night with everyone else. And to be fair there tends to be plenty of other larger people on a normal club night anyways. Personally we'd say only go to bbw nights if your specific intrest is larger ladies. We like chunky people but experience has taught us the people we really connect with and have filthy times with generally come in all shapes and sizes. Granted every one is different and many people love bbw events, it's just our take on them from personal experience. |

I’ve not had any bad experiences personally in any clubs on any occasions. I go to none curvy events too and there’s always a good crowd. But the OP said the F didn’t haven’t much confidence so a curvy/bbw night might just be a good start.
There is something for everyone x |

We've never experienced any issues, or ever witnessed any either at clubs around people's size. There are all sorts, sizes, ages at any of the clubs that we have been to.
The only issue that you occasionally see is those guys who forget that they need permission to touch, and thats of course irrespective of size or shape.
Neither of us are gym bunnies lol |

I’m a larger lady and attend a club and social events on a regular basis and I’ve never experienced any negativity. My advice would be to research your clubs/events pick one you like the sound of and just go for it, you’ll wander what the worry was about once you’ve dipped your toes |

There’s loads of different body shapes and types and all events. Not just bbw events.
I don’t attend bbw events as rule, even though I’m bigger, but FLAUNT thy curves is brilliant and rammed busy for an event for curvy women if that’s what you decide to try.
(Search flaunt on here and you’ll see what I mean )
I’ve never had more confidence that since I started attending clubs |

I’m athletic and quite toned and my wife is erm …curvy…she gets all the attention every time so go figure!
Seriously tho I feel more self conscious than she does. I sometimes feel people think im a gym shark and only there to show off…where as I think I look too skinny and she looks great! |
