Newbie visit to cupids?

Hi all, I'm in Manchester for work next week and have always wanted to visit a club. There are none here in N.Ireland

Basically what I'm wondering is, would you recommend cupids on a Monday night as a reasonable spot to dip your toe in for a first visit to a club?

I think 1st Monday of month from 6pm is newbie night at Cupid's.. So this Monday would be a good day to visit..
