spartan spa Leeds opening tomorrow

Asking again - on website it says single guys as well. Thought Fri/Sat's were couples only and did send an e-mail to given address with the question about that and also opening times - no answer. So ? |

Rang up earlier tonight and was told to ring in morning regards the club. Dont think the nice woman on phone knew what to say as said the person i needed to talk to about it would be in in morning. We only wanted to know if it was open till 2-3am on fri and sat nights. Got the impression it is only a swinging club at certain times of week.
Was told though we vould look round it on a day time for free. £25 for couples seemd expensive for a new club. |

Sent an e-mail to the e-mail address on webpage no reply then called no answer. So a dead end and not wasting time chasing it... Tough would have been nice to have a club in Leeds with jacuzzi (even if its small [picture shown])... Means still the trip to Bury and to enjoy a nice club then... Shrugs |

Posher areas would object to this type of business and not sure that matters anyway.
Their customer care leaves a lot to be desired. I messaged about it and received a reply but nothing since to explain delayed opening.
I doubt we will be going unless they open eventually and turn negative feedback round. Not responding to enquiries won't achieve that though. |

does anyone actually think that this place is going to become a good club in leeds.
the people who run it have hidden there profile,single men cannot go no replys to mails when you ring the spa no one knows whats happening.
its all very bizzare.
Maybe its a fantasy to pretend there opening a club. |

no...its opened 7 days a week, as a spa....but friday and saturday nights are supposed to be club nights for couples and single females only.Will be interesting to see the feedback when it opens ....AGAIN... on 2nd february.  |

Someone needs to talk to _eznhannah but there profile is hidden after all the bull about not competing with isis etc they never even get off the ground.
I know some guys who have been to the spartan through the day there is a few couples who have been in and a single lady was there one time but its classed as a sauna not a swingers club.
Come on _eznhannah let's be knowing whats going on and stop time wasting.

If you are reviewing a club thats going to be run by friends then its bound to be "bloody gorgeous".

Hmmmmm, the spartan place was in the local paper other day,(evening post leeds) some guy been charged and convicted of running a brothel from the premises. |

A pensioner hit out at authorities after he was hit with a £140,000 bill for running two brothels in Leeds.
Raymond Telford, 77, told the YEP: “I was helping to keep women safe.”
Telford, who has been operating the illegal sex shops in the city for more than 25 years, was ordered to pay the sum after a Proceeds of Crime Act hearing at Leeds Crown Court.
The case related to police raids on a flat in the city centre on Kirkgate and an address on Bayswater Road, Harehills, in December 2010, where prostitutes were found to be working and clients accepted they were paying for sexual services.
After the case, Telford said he was refusing to call time on his career as brothel owner. He said: “I suppose at my age I should be calling it a day.
“But I think one day it will be legalised in this country and, if I’m still around when it is, I will open some more premises.”
Reacting to the decision of the court, the married grandfather said: “Life is life and I will just have to pay it. But what most people don’t understand is that by closing me down they are just endangering more working girls.
“They will continue working whatever happens but this time they will be doing it on their own where they are more vulnerable.
“At my place the working girls were much safer, they had health visits each month by a doctor and got condoms and everything they needed. We have got to look at things in perspective.
“I think if it went to a vote most people would agree that prostitution should be legalised as long as brothels are properly regulated.”
Telford said he had spent years working in construction, based in Holland and Saudi Arabia, before opening his first brothel in Harehills in the 1980s. He said he had also operated premises for gay, lesbian, transvestite and transsexual clients.
He added: “I was born and bread in Chapeltown and have been around working girls for most of my life and nearly all of them are decent people. To do what I did you need to know how their brains work and what makes them tick.
“People may look down their noses and ridicule and criminalise people who get involved in this industry but I think prostitution saves a lot of lives.
“Making it legal would save even more.”

As the post reads the guy was arrested in 2010,maybe it now has a new owner. Still strange that no feed back from anyone who has visited the place or from the couple who did the original post |

The place its self is an adult sauna(read brothel ) during the day in a dodgy area, apparently its all been done up recently after an arson attack
We spoke to a receptionist there and she said the "swingers club" was nothing to do with the sauna business, just someone privately hireing their facilities for their own party get togethers.

yes, as said before, the place was firebombed and an (alleged) prostitute died. The story is easily found if you google spartan sauna leeds.
Funny how it is supposed to be resuming swingers nights on saturday 2nd feb, but there are no threads announcing it, and it seems _eznhannah still have their profile hidden. Not a very good start to a supposed new swinging venture. |

I think we can safely say this is not going to happen I had my doubts from day 1 and people started to slag isis off saying this that and the other isis is great it certainly isn't a knocking shop.
Lets all pretend we never saw some wannabe club owners fantasy. |
