Curvy/BBW nights

Looking for recommendations for good BBW nights. I live in Greater Manchester so plenty of clubs local to me but will happily travel and get a hotel for the right night.

My preference is to have a club area where you don't need to dress down (is this even a thing?), only thing that puts me off Cupid's.

Must be somewhere I'll feel safe as I'll likely be attending alone.

Thanks in advance!

North West

Club Play hosts curvy nights but you would be very welcome any night there. No dress down needed unless you go upstairs after 10pm. Really friendly club.

Just realised you don't want dress down

DC at Libs is good but you have to dress down if you want to enter the play areas.

BBW at chams is a good busy event but is dress down from the start.

I know you said no dress down but the BBW night at Chams is such an amazing event, you don’t even notice everyone is dressed down after a bit.

I don't like dressing down either but at Chams everyone is in the same situation and it does make it easier.

I find wearing a little robe over my outfits makes me a little more comfortable.

You look amazing and will rock it when your ready x

Pandoras in Leeds does a flaunt your curves night and you can keep your clothes on unless you go upstairs to the playrooms.

At Cupids curves, whilst its dress down on arrival- it doesn't always feel like it. I've worn a black nightie thing, or a robe which gave the coverup needed for my confidence. They do a once a month curves night on a Thursday, and its really chill with a good group of people going x

Thicc at Townhouse might be your kind of event. You don't have to dress down whilst socialising downstairs

Have been there where dress down clubs scared the living daylights out of me. Now I prefer them! You don’t even notice when you are chatting away, and also every looks amazing. Takes away some of the awkwardness. First time I dressed down I worn a black leather pencil skirt and a long sleeve fishnet top. So wear however much or little as you little really xx

Don’t be put off by ‘dress down’ clubs. Different clubs have different rules but some are a bit more relaxed and you don’t need to be prancing around in your skimpiest undies.

I co-host Flaunt Thy Curves at Cupids and host other events there too. Sexy robes over your lingerie are more than fine. Some of the ladies, including myself, often were sexy little dresses. PLT is a godsend for my club visits (and way cheaper than nice undies)

If you come along, you’ll see all the gorgeous ladies who rock their outfits.

Maybe try CURVZ on a Thursday night first to give it a bash. xx

Try The Playgrounds. It's more a lifestyle party, but they do a Curvalicious Party. You don't need to dress down, but its full of amazing people and hosts are beyond amazing.

It's Northanpton, they do a paid for shuttle bus from the local premier inn too

Worth the travel

Xx

This is really helpful, thanks so much for letting me know.

I'm a confident fatty but the thought of walking around in my underwear as a newbie terrifies me (I'm sure I'd get used to it!)

I've just ordered a sheer slip dress and some other bits from boohoo so hopefully I'll be over soon

Kingston upon Thames

Also important to consider that certain themes (greedy girl, bdsm etc) are sufficiently inclusive of BBW appeal for so many couples and singles.

Excellent! Boohoo is great too. As is SHEIN - some great plus size things on there that are perfect for clubs (lingerie and more risqué dresses) x

not far away

Bit of a trek but dangerous curves night at liberty elite is a great night. Classy, busy and no need to dress down at all. The front end - think large cocktail bar. At the back wet area and rooms which are obviously dress down areas but there's no pressure at all to go there and about a third of people don't.

Hope that helps ?

Blackpool

Club play in Blackpool would be my suggestion. Fantastic atmosphere you don't have to dress down unless you go upstairs after 10.

You have nothing to worry about. You look fabulous.

Infusions also in Blackpool used to be my go to club downstairs is clothing optional upstairs is dress down (I'd double check that, it's been a long time since I have been there.)

Omg you are made for THICC at Townhouse. Next one I believe is in May. No need to be nervous. The event is all about Curves! In all their guises. No body shaming at all. You don't have to dress down on the ground floor. Only if you go upstairs later on. I think it's around 1030ish. I have many friends who went to the last THICC event and said it was brilliant. X

I was just coming to say you should try Thicc at Townhouse! Bebcub beat me to it, haha. The hostess is really lovely. Dressdown isn't compulsory until 22.30 and then it's only if you go to the playrooms upstairs. You can stay dressed downstairs if you like but most people dressdown earlier. Xx

Pandora Club, Leeds, 15th Mar 25

"We had some lovely mentions on this thread already but Flaunt Thy Curves is back Sat 25th Nov at Pandora in Leeds (only 45-55mins drive from Manchester) and is looking an AMAZING night.

No need to dress down in the bar area (unless you want to!) although dress down is required in the play areas.

We can give you a tour of the venue when you arrive and currently have a kik chat running to break the ice between some folks

It'll be a capacity guestlist though as always so please do contact us if you wish to be added whilst we still have space "
