Clubs in Newcastle/North-East

Hi all - I'll be in Newcastle overnight all on my lonesome on a work trip soon and would like to visit a club, if there are any local ones that welcome single blokes (will be a mid-week night, probably a Wednesday). Can anyone recommend a suitable club? many thanks
