Hi, does anyone have experience of getting a purple mamba membership please? We're hoping to visit Nottingham and it looks like a nice club to try while we're there. Only issue is you can't apply online so we'd have to go a few days early to apply and wait out the 48 hour period. I'm just wondering what their criteria is for accepting people? I don't want to add a few days to our trip if it's very exclusive. I'm not like all the gorgeous, slim models on their website so a bit worried I'll be laughed at for even considering it

You can join on the day.
As with all clubs there are a mix of people who attend. We are probably on the older side but we've never felt uncomfortable at any clubs we've attended. Just be yourself and enjoy the experience. You'll be fine! |

I was a member with a partner pre-covid. We were both in our fifties, and definitely not like the models pictured in the website. They do look for people who can interact well socially as it is a small club. Membership for us was straightforward.
I do know of one chap who was refused membership, being told he wasn't their kind of person, and it was suggested club29 in Leicester may be more suited to him. |

We've been members before and I can assure you I am no slim supermodel! It was straightforward to join, no issues at all for us. We will hopefully renew in the future when I am more able to travel. |

As above really.
You can join on the day, just take photo ID like a drivers licence. I’m sure, as a couple, you won’t have any issues joining. At the end of the day it’s a business and most are unlikely to turn away any business. Just dress smart and you will be fine.

I was a previous member, they held a small informal chat with me to understand what I’m like as a male and how I may interact with others. I thought it was a great idea and welcomed it.
I haven’t been since Covid, but it’s a lovely club, great people who run it and very nice comfortable facilities.
I’m sure your enjoy it. |

The club have been in touch which we really appreciate and has helped us feel a lot more confident about booking. Can't wait to go now as it looks like our kind of vibe.
