As Sharif has said before the Attic only has one owner and it has no intention of shutting down.
I understand some people have hear rumors that it's shutting down and via Chinese whispers it's developing into other stories. |

To all reading this thread.
Long version - The club has one owner, and has done so in the last 20+ years.
The owners of the building the club is currently situated in, plan on redeveloping the building, therefore gave the club notice it's lease would not be renewed past it's next break clause.
The club has actively been seeking new premises ever since.
The club has agreed terms with the owners of potential new premises.
A planning permission application has been submitted to the council to allow "change of use" to the proposed premises, and is currently being processed through the councils usual way.
These are the facts at time of writing.
What we have written here is either freely discussed in the open or publicly accessible information, so hard to understand where rumors originate from.
Short version - business as usual and should be business as usual for many years to come. |

It's moving to Ascot Drive, and they are planning to keep both open if they can while they do the switch over then close the current one we went in for the first time in a few years and the owner remembered us and we got chatting. I'm definitely looking forward to the new one.. |
