Disgusting opening night, bad management & so overcrowded Was supposed to be by invite only? Were they trying to recover their outlay in one go. Wait an hour in the cold outside, naff drinks & nothing but excuses. How much do they pay for the good reports I wonder! Too many people let in - no chance to escape a fire.  |

I certainly didn't wait an hour to get in, had to give my fab user name from the guestlist to achieve entry, didn't think it was overly busy, and no problem with drinks all night.
What were they giving excuses about? |

Got to love false tales like this 1. The guy wasn't even in attendance & this can be confirmed by the club as they have a list of everyone who actually was there.
Nobody waited an hour to get in & as for overcrowded not according to fire regs, they were within the capacity allowed.
I think you went to a different club  |

Firstly - You are not on the guest or door sign in sheets under this name and looks like some people are trying to play games & politics & direct traffic again because we had a staff member ill at the last minute (Lillith) leaving us a bar staff down that was impossible to replace with it being last minute. Considering the situation our staff coped well under very extreme circumstances.
Second - We seem to have people who came deliberately to our club on opening night purly to cause issues and be nasty to other people. Even before entering the building causes sense outside and once inside holding up the bar arguing and being rude and pushing past people we had to deal with. Then there was the stink bomb that was set of upstairs near the vouyer room under the viewing window curtain out of sight of CCTV. 9 dressing gowns went missing along with towels  damage was made in lots of walls in blind spots of the camera including the bar and toilets & upstairs room damaged.
Third - We were well inside our maximum capacity for fire regulations and do not pay people for reveiws! We had a similar number of people attend New years eve and had no issues at all, the only difference was the bar was short by one staff member that slowed the service down, that we have apologised for.
We are looking at CCTV to identify the main trouble makers and usernames and already started to make some positive changes in staffing and our working practices and we thank everyone for your patience if you waited for a drink on the night xxx |

Seems you agree & then disagree! So many messages sent to me agreeing with my comments. Seems only your friends bother to post good reviews? Time to look at the overall picture.The trouble with owners that swing is that they are more interested in sex than general running. You get post's you don't like removed by getting your friends to say they weren't there! Excuses like 'doormans car broke down' & bar staff 'called in sick' are not something you'd expect from a well run business in any field! Yes you've now got heating - wow! a year maybe too late. How many guest's are you licensed for? |

If the club says that the OP wasn’t there, And can prove so, then that’s the end of the matter: they weren’t actually there, and this post is bogus. Especially when someone who can be proven to have actually attended debunks it entirely.
The idea that Club Play needs to pay anyone to give it positive reviews is plainly laughable to anyone who has ever been there (anyone without an agenda, at least), and it’s hilarious to claim that you have all these people agreeing with you in private, yet none dare say anything on here (I’d be willing to bet because they don’t actually exist).
I can’t wait to visit Club Play again in the near future, and desperate smear attempts like the above won’t change that in the slightest |

If you green arrow this op he has also tried to slate another club in Manchester and I’m sure he has done it to infusion in the past. Definitely a troll  |

They don't, just like you wouldn't be able to get posts removed. Posts are only removed if they break rules, implaying otherwise implies the mods are not impartial which is not true |
