Yes, V2V is looking very busy, might not be anywhere to play unless you get in quick!
Sadly we won't be at Fun at 40 as we'll be on holiday, but V2V is go!

I can't wait the organisers are sp lovely and made ne feel so welcome and checked in on me all night as it was only my second club visit and I was a little nervous!

I will paying my first visit to Liberty for this event. Visiting from Newcastle and heard great things about how friendly, inviting and good fun it is so can’t wait. |

After the excitement of socialising with youngsters & newbies at the V2V event last night we're really looking forward to getting back to the preference of playing with our own age group at this event lol |

Same. We stopped going as the age group seemed to increase every month - says us in our mid fifties, haha but we prefer getting down & dirty with the ‘kids’ and loved V2V. The fun @ 40 hosts both work hard so I’m sure it’ll be a great night. |

My 3rd visit in Feb. Really enjoyed meeting interesting and fun folk there on the last occasions, even without playing, its a great event !
If you see me, do say hi .... ill be in a kilt, with a handlebar 'tasche .... thats me, not the kilt (obvs). |

Aww we felt the complete opposite; so many couples new to the lifestyle who we hadn’t crossed paths with before so we thought it was refreshingly un-cliquey. Made lots of new fab friends. If you go again we’ll def come say hello. xx |

We sat on our own most the night, we left early as we both felt disappointed. We spoke with a few in the hottub (after queueing to get in) It felt hard work to get conversations started, get a drink or even navigate round the bar. Doubtful we will return |

It's really hard to mix and mingle if you are sat down at a club especially if it's a busy night. We like to stand or visit more social areas like the smoking area (neither of us smoke lol) but you can get into better conversations with more people. If you're sat down you can be stuck next to people you have no interest in , or they have no interest in you, and it's more off putting for others to initiate conversations with you . |

Will anybody actually be having sex at this event or is it all peacocks and voyers? That was our only disappointment going to Liberty in the past, too many folk just wanting to watch. |

I agree with the above about sitting. Whilst it was packed in the V2V night we stood at the bar and had lots of conversations and found everyone really friendly. Perhaps as there were lots of newbies (us included) many couples were a little standoffish?
We heard how busy it was in the play areas but we figured it would quieten down, so we left it till later to go through and managed to find an empty bed and had a really good time.

We've decided to attend the event on the 1st. It will be our 2nd visit to Libs in 3 weeks, disgraceful isn't it..lol
We also attended V2V and have to say that's the busiest we have ever seen Libs. |

It was our first visit to Libs for V2V. We couldn't fault the club, the organisation and there were plenty of hot couples but in our opinion the guestlist does need to be revised as there was far too many people for the size of the club and its facilities. |

When we've been to Libs it's usually on an event night (Dangerous curves, dark desires & V2V) it's been very play heavy particularly in the main spa room. |

That's such a shame you felt that way. Personally we really rate the 40s night,we must do as we travel 3 hours to get to it!
it's a great atmosphere & we found everyone so friendly & certainly not cliquey & we were made to feel very welcome & got into conversation really easy-but we're firm believers in you only get out of this lifestyle what you're prepared to put into it,- so yes there was a lot of sex going on & no you didn't have to que for the bar or jacuzzi.
You have to remember this is a very different event from that of the V2V which as great as it was, unfortunately was a victim of its own success in that it was far to over subscribed on the guest list, largely due to the organisers podcast success,& the want of all their listeners & newbies to experience the lifestyle that they'd been listening about & which in our humble opinion whilst being good for mixing new blood into the lifestyle also stinted a lot of play as there were lots walking around not knowing or being too scared how to approach anyone & was just too busy something we've never experienced on the 40s night and just looking at the guestlist now, there's less than 1/2 of that of the V2V |

This exactly. Either stand or sit on a tall stool. Very intimidating to approach anyone sat down on a settee.
I once went to Quest. A couple had traveled a good few miles to be there. They put a meet up on the forum. They sat in a corner. In a most difficult to get to spot. I didn’t spot them leaving that corner to make any attempt to mingle. They later left a review saying how cliquey the club was, and they wouldn’t be returning. Lol. |

We stopped visiting certain events at Libs for the same reason but although we haven’t been to fun @ 40 for a couple of months, it was always a good play night & everyone seemed to get stuck in. |

Hi everyone, as hosts of V2V we have read some of the comments and thought we would respond. Vanilla To Vixen is an event that makes a special point of welcoming newcomers to Liberty Elite and the swinging club scene. There were between 20 and 30 couples at our last event who had never been to a club before. We are disappointed to read that one couple who visited our event felt it was a "cliquey" experience for them. As there are so many brand new attendees at our events, we always try to talk to as many of them as possible. We love hearing about their jouneys and how they became interested in this crazy world. We say "try and set a goal of chatting to as many new people at the club as you can to get the best experience". We put our heart and soul into making everyone feel as welcome as possible, no matter what level of experience in the lifestyle. We would describe our event as the polar opposite of cliquey as so many couples are attending for the first time.
We do agree it was very very busy at the last event. Generally some couples do drop out at the last minute. However at our last event I think we only had one cancellation. Leaving us with a very busy night. Unfortunately V2V cannot be everything to everyone, which is why Liberty Elite has so many other fantastic events like the over 40s night. The club also has nights that are not hosted, these generally are much quieter for people that prefer it that way.
We would like to thank everyone who supports our events and we hope you all enjoy them as much as we love hosting them. We do what we do out of passion for the lifestyle and the lovely people we get to meet along the way.

Donna & I certainly agree with everything you said about your event & it was a lovely evening and as you agreed it was just a bit too busy, we even played with a newbie couple as well as chatting with yourself, however we do feel that this whole thread has unfortunately been high jacked as it was originally started for Isobels 40s night & has no real comparison to the V2V other than trying to explain to a couple that it wouldn't be as busy as yours, but hats off to you & tbh if we weren't away skiing we'd be straight on your guest list for your Hollywood night x Paula x |

Is the smoking room for talking or smoking? Because of such people, people are discouraged from visiting such clubs because they have to stand in the rain or frost because you keep your asses warm. You want to talk, go to the pub |

It is a guest list only event, irrespective you are a club member. Single men places are very restricted and if you are considering attending tonight it is extremely likely is over subscribed for single guys. |
