"Is there anything on or near the Isle of Wight worth travelling to?"
Not that I've been able to find, no. There's a naturist club which is a 35 minute walk from the nearest bus-stop - not good for a non-driver like myself.

It's called Valerian Sun Club. I've never been, due to the difficulties of getting there, but I know that you can't just turn up - you have to make a booking via a support ticket on their website, then visit three times before being approved for membership by the club committee. |

The club is defo a no for any swing action. I was a member and tried for years to get them to be a little more liberal minded but too avail, so i let my membership lapse.
Lovely place though.
Maybe we should all get together and join in the summer? |
