Well I'm off to Xtasia too accompanied by HogRoastandCrackling otherwise known as PorkPerky. It'll be their first visit to a club, and I've been a member for a while though I've never been on a NYE before so we're all looking forward to it.
Staying at The Premier Inn too, just trying to work out where to dine before we go to the club so suggestions are welcome.
On a sidenote I'm also going to the Foam Party at the club this Friday night, if anyone else is going it would be great to hear. |

Guest list for NYE is around 200 fully verified attendees at moment and building daily, so going to be a great night. For many it seems like its the annual trip to us, so be busy showing everyone the new rooms etc. but should get plenty of time to socialise as well. Also coming up with a few surprises for you all, lol. Been asked a few times about dress code on the night. Themed around Black Tie and Ballgowns, or Fancy Dress, however smart suits etc are obviously welcomed as well. Don't wish to force people into buying a suit for a one off event in these hard times. Smart, and erotic, is good for us.

Good Indian opposite the Premier on the corner near the West Brom Building Society, and also hearing good things about the Italian that is attacvhed to the Hare and 5 Hounds B&B, google work needed to book at a guess. See you Friday.

we be there too club has been superb since the new owners took over a massive improvement and the new rooms are fab we staying at premier inn next door too so anyone fancies meeting for a drink etc before let us know .

Are you open on the 30th dec. we are hoping to visit then for my birthday.
We have signed up as members via your web site, but not yet had chance to come.
Could you confirm dress code and what ID we need to bring.

Just checked the Xtasia website, it's closed on 30th but open on 29th and for it's NYE party on 31st. |

If people are meeting for Drinks at the Premier Inn before hand can we come along and join you? Driving up from Oxford so would be nice to know a couple of people before we go in. We wont be eating though - nice romantic Costa and a Ginsters Pasty in the car on the way |

What time is everyone planning on going into the club? We were planning on being there for 8pm but it looks like its going to be a busy night so wondered if it might actually be better to get there earlier?

Yep, open at 7pm on NYE. Trying to make sure everyone gets in by spreading the rush a bit, and remember our drinks are a lot cheaper than Prem's lol. Can we persuade a regular here to host early drinks at the Prem, say from 6pm, with an A_Z on a table or something silly, so everyone else knows who to look for.
As for the chocolate, you keep your bits out of it, lol.  |

We will be in bar from 7-8 and he is right drinks are a lot cheaper in club (and the bar staff tend to wear less lol).

We'll be at the PremInn from about 2pm. Think there's already a few couples meeting up there first but it depends what time you're getting there as Xtasia opens at 7pm.

Mark and ourselves will be at the PremInn quite early (2ish) as we're both coming from 'Far Far Away...' so happy to host it if you like. Just need to agree a 'sign'..... (PS can dust off my Batsignal and shine it on the ceiling.. Just an idea..... Lol!)

LOL That's true, but picking up on Paul & Flirts idea, apparantly anyone holding an A-Z, or a guy trying to aim a Batsign at the ceiling from his torch, or a sign supplied by Xtasia themselves should point out who is Xtasia bound.
Personally though, I suspect that 90% or more of the people staying in The Premier Inn will be Xtasia bound.... |

Whats the etiquette for ladies outfits in hotel bars ? Just wondered if we cared about scaring the other guests? Sam wasn't planning on wearing a coat as the club is next door but her dress is only 1 inch below MB so we don't want to offend anyone.

The etiquette in the premier inn is 1/2 an inch below is indecent, but an inch below is modest so Sam will be more than safe.......
Lots of ladies (and gents) do take coats to the club though, even if staying in the hotel, and there's a free cloakroom you can use at the club, if that helps...

Remember years ago when SDC used to hold regular events at Xtasia when 2 thirds of the guests were Xtasia bound....the other third was an Evangelical Choir staying prior to a performance the next day.
The bar area at night consisted of a mix of very scantily dressed females, and a large amount of very pleased male choralists whoses stares and wide eyes had completely forgotten thoughts of "halleluyah" and "praise the lord"! |

Paul, Flirt and all the staff,
Thank you for a really great night, last night. We were really impressed with the club and it's clear how much work you've all put in to make it one of the best around.
Now that we're members, we'll be back later this year as it's well-worth the 300 mile round trip.

Thanks guys for a fab night ... my feet are still on fire, and my balloon flower has pride of place in the kitchen window! The magician was ace ... and a fab dancer too!

It really was a top night, how nice it was to see everyone dressed so smartly. The guys looked so sexy!! Only down side for us was someone took my nickers while we were playing!! Pretty sure we know who, just a bit of a pain really, that is unless the cleaners have found them this morning but I doubt it as we searched the room high and low for them last night. Still a brilliant night and well worth the trip from York. Thanks guys
