"Hi all, hoping to make it for NYE. Will it be couples and single ladies only or single guys as well?
Think it's single guys as well that night"
Thank you! |

"Are there any single males attending? I have a hotel booked and as much fun as couples are I’d love to have a little 1:1 fun too. "
If they’re allowed, they’ll be there. Also, if they’re not allowed, they’ll be there.
If you’re struggling to find them, just turn around.
I don’t think you’ll have anything to worry about |

Thanks for the kind message. We’ll see; I’ve only attended on Saturdays and the very late and occasional Sunday and the crowd has been mostly couples. |

No probs! And I’m not hating on single guys at clubs per se, we’ve just had some off-putting experiences with them at this club in particular in the past.
Events like NYE will be heaving and there will be a good mix if open to all, should be a good night! |

Never been on NYE before, so I think single men are allowed as a special occasion even though it's a Saturday but just wondering how there received? Seems to be mainly couples going from this thread so far.
I guess as always only one way to really find out! |

"What time does it open NYE?
18:00
I hope not ?? it usually open from afternoon in normal running ? Hoping to be there from late afternoon "
I’ve just checked the website again and it says 6pm till late.
You might want to give them a call and check - perhaps that’s just the event times and they’ll be open earlier. |

"Where is it like to try and get
My wife there "
It’s in Darlaston but assuming you haven’t been before, NYE is for existing members only if I’m not mistaken. It’s one of, if not the busiest nights of the year so I don’t think they accept new memberships on the door. |

It goes on well into the morning... And then opens again around mid day on the 1st. It's probably not possible to staff it in the afternoon on the 31st, as it is so busy overnight and the day after. |

I have just had a conversation with Steve. He has confirmed the following:
Price for NYE: Couples £50, Single Males £50, Single Females £20.
Memberships: Must be valid as you will not be able to renew on the day at the door.
Saturday during the day: They will not be open
Saturday earliest time open: 6pm
Closing time: Very late. TBD on the day
The day after (For the hardcore): Yes they are open from 2pm until Midnight
Other things of note: Champagne & Strawberries will be handed out at some stage
Any other questions go back to Steve by ringing him at the club (Im just trying to help a brother out).
Peace! |

We think fifty quid for both of us is a bargain, for what will be around a ten hour 'bring your own booze' party. Filled with like minded people, a DJ, and a great atmosphere.
A few drinks together in town would leave us down more than that. |

That is only £10 more than standard Saturday entry, they are handing out Champagne & Strawberries, they will need more staff and are staying open much later than normal and (hopefully) paying the staff more than standard rates.
I really don't think that's unfair, especially when you consider how much you will save on the bar bill! |

£15 more but to be fair to Chams, they charge less than the majority of the major clubs and you don't have to renew your membership every year either. We'd of happily gone but with NYE falling on a Saturday just too many questions will be asked by Vanilla friends. |

The standard rates went up about a month ago, off the top of my head couples rates are:
Sun-Thursday £28
Friday £35
Saturday £40
(£5 cheeper before 5pm Fri/Sat) |

Very true. Everywhere (vanilla or not) is more expensive on new years eve |

Oh I didn't know single men allowed on NYE being on Staurday. Already booked staying over on Friday, will see if I have enough energy to come for NYE, but definitely will be the most busy and hot night I am sure |

Obviously everyone's situation is different but think it's important to help support clubs. Their costs must have gone through the roof. £50 is a lot but compared to a big night out Inc meal it's quite cheap and probably far more fun ! |

"They have always charged more for NYE."
To be fair to chams I don't think many other clubs open 6 days a week for at least 13 hours. That's what I'd pay a bit extra for on one day a year. |

We have never been to any of these clubs so I was just wondering, are they also bring your own booze?
We have been to a few places that are licensed and, in our experience anyway, it always ends up a much more expensive night overall.
I'm sure places that have a licenced bar don't need to charge extra on the door as the alcohol sales will be higher than normal to make up the difference, Chams don't have that option.
It all comes down to the individuals and what works out to be the best option for that couple, but I would much rather pay a little extra and take my own drinks. |

For us with travelling etc, even an increase in price is worth it. As you said no alcohol prices (and soft drinks and mixers are reasonable), less petrol as it’s closer, and also no need for a hotel as it’s just a 30 min drive. |

There is a reason the attic charge very little and have no membership |

I think new members will be able to sign up but I'd get there early as it fills fast!
It opens at 18:00 and closing time will depend on how many people are still active I believe but its open until atleast 3am we have been there a lot later than that though in the past
We have been the last 4 years for NYE it's been open (other than covid) and its always been packed full of great people!
Hope to see you all there

The rooms in chams are fully booked. There is Premier Inn and Holiday In nearby. There is also village hotel. Many other places you can find when searched in booking.com as well xx |

For the ladies it’s as glam as you like, but it’s dress down so some glam sexy lingerie or club wear is perfect. Tbh You don’t see many ladies in towels in the evenings.
Most men wear a towel (provided in lockers) or boxers
Enjoy

"Seems you are able to become a new member though.
Maybe I should have directed my question towards whether there will be room for us to become members and get tickets on the same day. "
You are not able to become a new member at Chameleons on New Years Eve, to attend on New Year’s Eve you have to already be members of the club and have attended at least once prior to NYE.
This is what is meant by the earlier post stating it’s for existing members only.

There are less ladies in club wear...it's mainly lingerie and heels.
Men can wear swim shorts if preferred. Also don't forget to take flip flops (you'll understand why on your first toilet visit) |
