Condoms in clubs

This is a bit of a rant from the weekend
Was involved in a group play. A few guys were watching and at that point I was and someone cheekily said can I have a condom - no was my response the club sell them.
Also later on I noticed a few guys had helped themselves to my box that I had left with my bondage kit when I was doing a demo
Now for me as a single guy I always take condoms as you never know if play will happen. If you can make your mind up to go to a club then take a pack with you. Along with my kit, I check if I have lube and condoms and toy cleaner just in case

Not saying its right what happened it's not, but some clubs do leave free to take condoms in play areas in bowls or similar could people have thought they were available to take for free?

Over the years many men have asked me for a condom at the point of action. It staggers me that anyone would put themselves in a situation where they are likely to have sex but do not have the necessary equipment. Like the OP I have a little bag I carry with condoms and lube.
My rant is that swingers clubs actually charge for condoms, whereas in male saunas they are always free and available in abundance. |

Yeah I did consider that but it was in the box with my other crops and whips next to them - so I was surprised and there are non others in the club like that  |

Having been on the scene as long as I have my first club session I had forgotten to take condoms with me and ended up not playing at all, since then I have always had at least two condoms with me. I always use latex free as some ladies prefer them, even when out away in the truck I have a couple there too. Never know when the opport_nity arises (yet to happen). |

And yes Op I think those guys were taking the piss.
And regardless on whether you know the club provide them or not, take your own! Ones you know fit and you've tested the range before. Theres such a variety out there. |

As a woman I'm surprised at how few guys I've played with have their own.
I've met guys specifically to play (not a social) and they've said when we've got down to it they have not brought condoms. I'm very clear in my profile I don't play bb.
I do always bring condoms but I do think guys should bring their own, only they know the correct fit and preferred style for them. |

The amount of men that dint bring them! I always carry condoms, just in case. But, men should always have their own.
And, guys, after you finish, please put your condom in a bin, they are provided. Horrible having them left on the floor/beds!!!

In fairness, some saunas get them free of charge from various sexual health organisations. Swingers don't, so the club have to pay for them, some of which then pass on charges.

Surely it's common sense, if you are going to a sex club you are more than likely going to need condoms, I always go prepared and even have a few latex free ones just incase I come across someone with an allergy |

Always bring my own, seems very odd that someone would not. Have been caught out and had to excuse myself and run back to the locker to get another one a few times but to just not have any is a concern |

If some men don’t want to spend the money to buy condoms, all they have to do is go into GUM clinic and get them for free. But of course, as pointed above, it’s probably men that don’t want them to be ‘found’.

Nah. Google suggests Skyn XLs are only 60mm. Standard condoms are 56mm.
MySize make condoms that go up to 72mm. "
I've tried MySize 72mm (I'm wearing one on my profile picture). MySize are latex and smell so I prefer Skyn XL. |

It absolutely blows my mind that
One: men don’t think to bring their own
And two: that some clubs charge for condoms!!! That’s literally asking the tight arses not to bother practicing safe sex!!!
I know townhouse has free condoms in all the rooms and even free xl and latex ones aswell Behind the reception!! when you get a tour they tell you about them and if you need more to just ask the staff. Why would you not want to protect your customers is beyond me and clearly about making more money!!
If the club has all the correct licences etc and is completely honest about what it is they get them free from the sexual health clinics.
So the clubs that charge are either just in it for the money and don’t care for their customers health or they aren’t fully licensed for what they actually are which is a sex club. |

Every Playroom we have has FREE condoms in at Club Play as standard. We promote safe sex heavily and consider it as a necessary thing to provide as standard in our club like toilet paper in the toilets.
The downside as a club is some people do steal them all out of rooms with them being free The second problem is people demanding certain sizes (extra large) & latex free condoms which are very expensive.
We do still advise people to bring there own especially if you need a size like extra large or latex free but we do put a selection of condoms out every time we open and can guarantee no matter how many we put out there's never any left at the end of a night. |

I mean I prefer to have durex extra strong so I won’t have latex free ones with me, tbh from prior experience if someone wants or needs a latex free one they will have them anyway.

Most European clubs have them for free out of a tamper proof vending machine so even have lube.
Whilst I always bring my own I have been asked by women if I could use theirs. |

All men and women who expect or hope to play should be carrying condoms. It's hard to believe that some people don't, especially men.
We both have a little zipped wrist pouch that's big enough to hold some condoms and sachets of lube.

Hmmm - interesting one. We are of the mindset that we bring enough condoms that way we know the quality and provenance of them even if guys have their own. No issues with latex so lucky there but these things go out of date or can be cheap imitations so we prefer to provide. Both at clubs and parties. Helps if the guys have their own so we know they are not chancers but never had a problem with ‘ here- please use ours’. Compared to club entry, travel costs, drinks etc….consider a small price to pay for peace of mind. |

Me, and I also got an unpleasant rash from the free condom I used in a club once! I always carry Mates Skyns with me, whether out at work, in my car, or in a club (although, having condoms with me in a club usually guarantees I won’t need any )

Peoples laxidasical approach to condoms clubs always amazes me.
I always take some and I'm happy to give them to people I am playing with. Equally if a guy has his own, I want to have a look at it before he uses it. If they're cheap crappy looking ones then I'll ask him to use mine.
I'm quite sure some people would just stick a sock on it if it meant getting their leg over .
But yes, I totally agree. Take your own, and make them good quality. |

When I attend a club I carry condoms in my trousers pocket.When I attend a spa I keep them in my locker and when I have the opport_nity to play I tell the lady to give me a couple of minutes to go and collect my condoms.One time a lady said to me don’t worry I have some in my bag as apparently most guys at the spa didn’t carry them. |

I always carry a few with me… my rule of thumb is that I will give them one of mine if their condom splits…. But I won’t give my if you don’t have any to begin with!
You wouldn’t jump in puddles without wellies… too many people are opportunistic when they think they can get away with it… I’ve seen all sorts of tricks tried to be used!

As to taking without consent, bang out of order. I would also say inductive of the kind of guys who cause trouble in clubs.
I must admit I have been presently surprised at clubs that provide free condoms in the play spaces. This is convenient and pragmatically I'm sure it does encouraged safe sex (although it shouldn't necessary to do so). But I also understand providing tubs of free condoms is an operational cost that may not be viable in every clubs business model. |

In our view as a club it's necessary to promote safe sex.
As a club you can get Free condoms to a point but they are very limited. The cost to us as a club is only about £20 - £30 a week and one we are more than happy to pay.
We know of clubs that get free condoms and sell them at a £1 each which we find dubious to say the least!  |

Two voices were heard saying "anyone got a spare condom"? If I wasn't having so much fun, I'd probably have been tempted to have said "fuck off...get your own". |

Every single one of our meets we have had in a club never have condoms and my husband is always the one giving them to the other guy, the amount of times we've gone off to a room and we are getting down to it and at the point of having sex and he reaches for one, "my guy" doesn't, either they just expect bareback or they just really don't expect action. |

"This is a bit of a rant from the weekend
Was involved in a group play. A few guys were watching and at that point I was and someone cheekily said can I have a condom - no was my response the club sell them.
Also later on I noticed a few guys had helped themselves to my box that I had left with my bondage kit when I was doing a demo
Now for me as a single guy I always take condoms as you never know if play will happen. If you can make your mind up to go to a club then take a pack with you. Along with my kit, I check if I have lube and condoms and toy cleaner just in case

Can not believe people would use club condoms without size and shape not taken into account or trust other to provide..

The only thing I can think is that have 3 and maybe run out - but at least be honest and say that
I always have at few in seethrough play bag with more spare in locker, you never know if you get invited to join in |

The only exception might be if she was to play with someone who was very large or very small and Skyns wouldn't fit (we carry both normal and XL) however we think anything that wouldn't fit those sizes of condom wouldn't be great compatibility for her.
If A. is playing with other women then we will offer to use ours (especially as Skyns feel great!), but if a couple asked to use theirs then he would be fine with that.
We see it as a miniscule cost in terms of a club visit, even if we have a busy day and get through 6 in a visit that's only about £4, we will always supply them to our friends if they get caught out or run out. We carry around 10 in a little purse type bag along with a small tube of lube and a small vibrator and have loads more in our bags in the locker in case we had a very adventurous day. |

Skyns are brilliant I've actually had to stop play in the past as I thought it had broken or come off as it felt that good, but lo and behold it was fine, also carry a few latex-free ones just incase. |

All Skyns are latex-free (unless some of the more exotic ones aren't), we recently got some of the elites to see what they're like as they're 15% thinner!
We ditched "normal" condom's as they don't let you feel as much sensation for either party, and they delay ejaculation for so long they really rub her up the wrong way! |

I just don't get it, But I will tell you this.... I have found increasingly at clubs of late men not bringing condoms in the hope you're too horny to say no and end up saying oh go on then!! It really does grind my gears, I avoid these men like the plague as it tells me they don't take their or my sexual health serriously! |

One thing is to ensure your condoms have a silicone lube (which includes Skyns) as most water based condom lubes are very irritating.
Not tried Skyns but problem I found with non latex is if you're larger there is no stretch.
Just had to throw out my MySize condoms as they'd all expired since lockdown! |

Surely if the club is good they should supply condoms if anything you can bring your own and top up the pile all safe in the end just make sure you take 1 when you need it |
