Hi all I’m sure this has been asked a million times before but we are a couple thinking about attending our first club but neither have ever been before and have no idea what to expect? Does anyone have any advice? Which are the best clubs? When is best to go? Anything we should do or avoid when there? |

I suggest Quest for a first time visit. After a couple of drinks in the bar (take your own alcohol) you could go in the changing rooms and dress down into your underwear and have a wander round the playrooms. No pressure to join in. |

In our humble opinion, Xtasia is the best club in the UK.
Secrets has great parties, but may be a little too far for you!! |

We’ve looked at quest and just a bit nervous of it being on our doorstep. As we’re new to this we are still quite private about it but thanks for the advice x |

Were off to club f in durham, we are fairly new our self and travel for clubs so there not local. First time to club f and looking to expand on our limited experience |

Have a look on the club review section, they've all got links to their websites. In some clubs you don't have to strip off if you don't want too. We were nervous on our first visit and just played with each other in a room on our own. You will be nervous for your first visit, you should do it though, it's very surreal! |

Be willing to chat, rather than sit in a corner, although easily forgiven for 1st times.
Turn up is smart casual, you can change into something less, or sexy once in (most clubs).
Go with no expectations to play, not just your 1st but every time, go to be sociable then anything else is a bonus.
Tell them on arrival it's your 1st time and staff will explain all and give you a tour.

We think Jaydees is the perfect first time club, large club with lots of private play areas and not just communal places. Such a friendly vibe, social as well as sexy.. the only thing is to be yourself , relax and enjoy.. always people to help you out and offer advise with no hidden agendas !  |

Given your location you have Quest & Pandoras to choose from. I would agree that Quest is probably the best choice for a first timer. Pandoras is huge & would probably be a bit intimidating. Plus I find it is best to go there when there is a specific event on. Maybe go to Quest on a weekday evening or afternoon when not so busy. But all good advice previously given in terms of tell the staff it is your first time & get them to give you a tour around, be social & interact with other folks there. Don’t just fall into a trap of just chatting amongst yourselves which is easily done. Go with no expectations & if you end up playing it is a bonus |
