There have been a few TV fly on the wall style documentaries inside clubs. There seems to be some extremely attractive model looking females 23yrs to 30yrs with perfect figures.
Then there's a few of the real type of people you see in supermarkets and at work etc.. Not particularly attractive, body shapes they probably dislike and 40's plus.
So let's hear it from you regulars out there.. Tell us what sort of people you actually find yourself in the hottub or theatre room with?????? |

A mixture of both. We are regular attendees to swingers clubs. There are some stunning people that go. But like society outside of clubs there are a wide spectrum of ages, body shapes and sizes. Swinging is not exclusive to people with model looks and gym fit bodies. It's better for it too. You don't need to be a gym bunny or a Tom Hardy lookalike to ooze sex appeal. Most sex appeal simply comes from confidence in yourself x

Unless you choose to go to a very elitist club, where you need to supply your photographs for the management/owners to judge whether or not you fit with "the vibe" of the club, people of all shapes and sizes are welcome in swingers clubs. It's much more about your personality, friendliness and ability to connect with strangers rather than how you look. Also, we personally may think that we don't look good enough but others might have a totally different opinions, which certainly helps boost the confidence. |

We go to a lot of different clubs and can’t really say there’s any we don’t like, though of course we have our preferences and favourites. Though, you may find some club differences based on a certain night or targeted event.
We can honestly say that we’ve felt welcomed at them all and you will meet the most diverse of people at swingers clubs, be it age, height, weight, colour, religion, race, nationality, sexuality, gender and so on.
So we’ve mixed, partied, socialised and played with all of the above you describe.
I don’t entirely subscribe to the documentaries you see on TV as they don’t always carry a true reflection usually carrying a certain narrative, but that’s another story.
Theatre rooms are a bit meh for us, but do enjoy a hot tub where, again, we find all of the above you describe and enjoy their company.

From experience of a fair few years and clubs is that people in clubs are from a wide range of backgrounds, social statuses, professions and life experiences. However there generally seems a recurring theme that they all do reasonably well for money. I think it tends to be mainly the over 30s and more the over 40s because people tend not to be so comfortable in their own skin until later in life. |

One of the things that I like about the lifestyle is that most if the people I meet are pleasant 'real' people who are, yes, like those I meet in the supermarket!
Their sensuality is very carnal and honest.
A full spectrum of body shapes and sizes, all united by the common theme if enjoying good sex with others...... |

This a lot (not all) of siwingers are in there 30s 40s and above and we have swinging friends in their 70s they tend to be financially mobile / settled, have family's, careers, own home etc. Many (not all disclaimer 2) have reached the point where we realise life is short, have become comfortable in our own skin and just want as many amazing adventures before we pass on from this world.

We've seen a few posters in club changing rooms asking for participants in an upcoming documentary on swinging and/or swingers clubs.
Would you go on television spouting about how you love to watch other men with your wife and your dogging adventures?
Would we, no chance.
Why wouldn't we?
Err...family, friends, work, local community etc etc.
To us swinging is a secret pastime and its that secretive life that brings excitement.
So, you have to ask what type of person does feel the need to sing about their swinging lives?
What type of people frequent clubs? About the same as the people who wander around your town and shopping centre every weekend.
Normal folks from all walks of life.
You will find you gravitate to your own type after a very short space of time just like in your normal life.
Visit with an open mind, be friendly, approachable and only do what you feel comfortable.
We visited a club around 3 times before we played.
Most of all, have a great time.

For Chameleons, Kestrels, Quest, Club29, Pandoras, BGHS and Eurekas my experience is that most people are over 30, and a 'supermarket' of body shapes and sizes.
I went once with a 'beautiful' slim young woman to a selective party in a London club. Boring as..... Everyone was more concerned with looking good than just enjoying themselves! |

You me and everyone in between.
Most clubs are diverse and cater for all. Some clubs or some clubs host elite nights where you have to be model material. Like above stated 'boring as' care more about looks and calorie intake, not somewhere I want to be. I like the more laid back with a variety of people. |
