Hi,
Just asking for thoughts on the naturist side of Kestrels.
I’ve been a few times because the one thing I like is to be naked. However, I’ve noticed that when it comes to walking around, I’m the only one who isn’t wearing my towel.
It’s got to the stage where I’m self conscious about this and wondering if I’m getting the vibe wrong and it’s the done thing to wear your towel when walking around.
Any thoughts or advice would be welcome |

Think the old club was more geared up for naturism. The open space, everyone was happy being naked on the grass etc. this new club just doesn’t have the naturist feel to me |

Thanks for the replies and I suppose a little confirmation that I’m not alone in feeling self conscious when I’m the only one walking around naked.
Not to say I’ve not enjoyed my times at Kestrels, it’s just something that made me feel maybe I was a little in the wrong to not wear my towel.

"I am naked some times, i fling the towel over my shoulder so its still with me.
"
Same here.
OP, just try and not worry about the others, if you feel comfortable naked, then walk around naked. I think they only ask people to cover up at the bar as there is CCTV showing images downstairs at the reception area. |

I think most people are easy going / open minded, I am. So I’d encourage you to do what feels right. The towels are too small to keep me covered so my boobs are always out and I don’t feel uncomfortable- far from it! |

As per previous messages, do what you feel comfortable with - but be wary of the bar area because of the CCTV...and if you're a smoker, stay under the roofed area otherwise you could be spotted from the hotel next door! |

Well I hope I see you there one day soon
Obviously the towel being too small is my excuse as well #hunglikeadormouse |

I’m planning to visit kestrels for the first time on Saturday afternoon and wanted to know if anyone is planning on heading that way?
Is the cross section of visitors also highly skewed to men vs women/couples or does that vary on a day to day basis?
Nice to know about towel thing too…never been to a nudist place (other than studland) so always good to know I’m not alone with regards to nerves |

"Is it dead here weekdays? I’m considering Friday as an option but don’t wanna be all on own "
You won't, most likely, be on your own. However, as with any spa-based clubs where people don't have to pre-book, you never know who is going to attend and how many.
Kestrels is still a great place to chill regardless of people in attendance. And, for being London-based, they don't charge an arm and a leg. |

"Is it dead here weekdays? I’m considering Friday as an option but don’t wanna be all on own " you wouldn’t be alone, but it depends what you’re doing there for. Daytime is the naturist spa and it’s always handy to remember that not all naturists are swingers. Some members go purely to use spa facilities and chill out. It’s also non-book, so no one ever knows how quiet/busy it will get. |

I've never understood the whole "wrap a towel round you" thing at a naturist place. I thought the whole point was you can be naked there. I really don't understand why people do this but I see it at most naturist clubs we have been to.
I just go naked unless there's a specific reason to cover up and I don't feel self conscious at all. Towels are for drying yourself with at these places, not for covering yourself up with! Luke |

Thanks for all the replies and support. I guess it’s a common thing for folks to wear their towels but there are a few of us out that like to be in the buff
Looking forward to my next trip to Kestrels, which should be on Wednesday 28th. Hopefully I’ll see some of you there |
