Rochdale/Manchester/Blackpool and were ever the mood takes me

The hottub at _lub play does get a lot of attention, many a night I have seen myself with various people enjoying relaxing and socializing in and around it.

Although they do not permit you to play in the hot tub I prefere it that way.

I've been to infusions in the past and the pool is nice although I'd be taking flat shoes next time amd not my heels

Blackpool, At The Crack Of Dawn!!

This forum post give us an opportunity at _lub play to announce we are investing over £60,000 this year in the club with many upgrades one if which will be brand new wet area

Which will mean a part closure of _lub play in January next year which is unavoidable for a change of this magnitude.

Although we think the wet area is good we are always upgrading and investing in our club so there will be a brand new pool/jacuzzi installed in _lub play that will allow up 14 people in it at a time. The showers will be renewed & replaced, this area will also have a Sauna and a NEW steam room!

The other planned changes are new carpets in areas, completely new air conditioning downstairs & upstairs and another upgrade to the smoking area and outside areas and a new playroom that is top secret to be announced.

These are very exciting times at _lub play and for the next few years we will be investing back into the club heavily to make it one of the best in the UK

We love the pool and jacuzzi at infusion as they are next to each other and within the social area, obviously there’s no playing in the hot tub which for hygiene reasons is the way it should be but you can get down and naughty in the pool if you so wish. Me I prefer a nice naked swim it’s so liberating

Infusion Blackpool

Miss pleasuring, yes we have a massive central indoor social area that includes the the swimming pool, hot tub, seating and bar area. It's a great place to socialise and relax.

Its fantastic news for swingers that us clubs are proud to invest and give customers what they want. We have been offering our customers a full sized 30ft heated swimming pool since we opened in 2005.

As we are very experienced and know a lot about swimming pools we would be happy to give advice about costing, planning, health and safety etc. However, be aware you will need to substantially increase your 60k budget if you want a proper swimming pool. You will need to invest at least 2/3 times that much just for a swimming pool.

During lockdown we invested a lot of money and completely refurbished Infusion, even though we were not given any financial support or know if we could ever reopen due to Covid-19. During this time we fit new carpets, new reception, new bar area, new security, new sound system, new hot tub, new sauna stove, new pool table, new upholstered seating, new upholstered bedding, new pool side seating, new play beds, lighting and more. We dont continually advertise our improvements or spam forums, as we believe people have a pleasant surprise when they visit.

So come on everyone support clubs and visit us

See all our new and existing customers soon

Chris and Shirley

Wow, well done Club Play, that's fantastic news and I cannot wait for these refurbishments!

One thing I am looking forward to is a larger hot tub (more people means more connections) BUT still having the hygiene standards you've always had by not allowing play in it. This is one of the main reasons I frequent your club (and others with the same hygiene levels) and avoid others.

Can't wait to see you guys soon and for these renovations to start!! All the best luck in the world... not that you need it..

We couldn't agree more, we take heath and safety very seriously at Infusion. We have never allowed any sexual activity in our hot tub.

The Facilities at Infusion are vast and extremely invigorating.

The investment during LockDown was Phenomenal given the uncertainty when reopen would happen. Everybody is impressed when they see the changes even people now say Wow when they walk in.

It’s sad when people say the Spa is closed which never has been. It may be temporarily closed for 30/40 mins whilst the chemicals take their course of action because people have done something naughty in there or before I.e not showered fake tan or make up which interacts with the chemicals etc.

The closure is not a reflection on the club it’s a reflection on some people who don’t follow the rules for the safe use of the Spa and to other customers.

The Spa and Swimming Pool are top notch, continuously clean and Definately a Game Changer for this venue. Infusion is the best and cleanest venue I have visited and leaves others standing.

An absolute credit to the owners

This is great to hear. I assume its the same for the pool?

H&S is important in any venue. 2 weeks ago my friend broke her leg at a Club (in two places no less, shes doing okay) and thankfully the Club has insurance (wasn't needed as wasn't the clubs fault) but imagine if she'd slipped?!

I'm a host at a club and whilst I don't own it, I and everyone else there is hot on this topic. Same can be said at Club Play actually...

This why all good response clubs are on it with health & hygiene and have public liability insurance to cover themselves in event of things like this

We do not encourage any sexual activity in the pool. Even if this was the case the filtration system for the swimming pool is far superior than a hot tub along with sanitisation chemicals and other monthly checks. There is no worry about health risks at Infusion

Did I read that correctly MONTHLY CHECKS? Surely they should be a minimum of daily checks?

Here is a partial quote from your staff further up this thread....

obviously there’s no playing in the hot tub which for hygiene reasons is the way it should be but you can get down and naughty in the pool if you so wish.

You dont encourage sexual activity in the pool but it's fine anyway because of better filters?

Sorry for your confusion, the monthly check I mentioned are for laboratory testing.(very few businesses do this) We test the chemical levels and record several times a day. Along with other procedures if you would like to know more please feel free to contact us directly.

We agree we are a big events club every Friday and Saturday night but will be upgrading our wet area but don't feel we need a full-size pool or want one as wrong for our club.

Our upgrades will be designed to make our customer's night out better, for instance, a pool with a jacuzzi 3 times the size of the hot tub we have now and twice as deep that can hold up to 14 people is more what our customer want than a full-size pool.

The upgrade of the 3 showers we have and adding of a steam room and new air-con are all designed to make the club better for everyone that visits us

No back peddling. If you know 'your stuff' then you would know our swimming pool is well looked after and you would know the procedures that are in place especially if you were a customer of Infusion.

Indeed we are different clubs.

Infusion offers an impressive wet area with a 30 foot swimming pool, hot tub, along with a sauna. We pride ourselves in being a great relaxed club for new people to swinging and of course just as much fun for those that are more experienced. We have been opened since 2005 and have done pretty much every type of event possible but the general concensus is people are adults and just want a venue to meet likeminded people without the pressure of a specific event.

We have lots of future plans

I check the spa and pool 3 times (more if ph is out) within my day shift and the evening staff the same. The spa is drained weekly more if needed.

The monthly check is when water is sent off for testing to a company for more in-depth testing.

Your taking the interpretation of play in the wrong context, for example if a couple want a kiss and cuddle in the pool because of the size of the pool this is completely acceptable, however in the spa it’s encroachment on others space and may wrongly influence them to join in thinking it’s “sexual activity”

Then also goes against our no means no policy.

In the pool we can clearly see what is happening and anything that we feel is to going become heavier, we remind guests there no intercourse is allowed and send them on there way upstairs

For the scientific side, the spa has a low cubic area of roughly 38 times smaller than the pool. So the chlorine levels are so much different.

The higher the water temperature, the greater the amount of wastes, contributed by bathers, within the same time frame. In addition, the higher temperatures make chlorine more reactive, so that the rate of depletion increases, as the water temperature rises. When water temperatures rise towards 40 C, the growth of microorganisms increases, as the warmer water starts to function as an incubator. The presence of warmer spa water adds more stress to the chlorine level and speeds its depletion.
