We were literally just going to ask the same question!!
We went to Pandoras last night, so we're going to try Quest tonight..
Pandoras is massive and was very busy, Quest is meant to be alot smaller and not as busy..
We're all the way from Scotland, so just going to try them both while here! |

Which ended up being best? Where has the younger audience? Me and a female friend are heading to quest for the first time soon |

We were travelling through the area last Saturday so thought it prudent to contact both clubs to see if we could get membership on the door on the night to avoid a wasted trip (have you seen the cost of petrol?) as Pandora's website stated they need up to 7 days to process your application and Quest states you may not get in on the night.
Well Quest never answered their phone all week, never replied to emails and didn't even bother opening our message to them on Fab.
Pandora on the other hand replied to us within an hour on Saturday morning.
So it was off to Pandora for us.
Great club, around 25 playrooms so lots to explore and wander round to see what's going on. Great dungeon, nice hot tub and pool (though a bit cool for us) both situated in the lounge area behind glass so you always felt part of the action.
It was a fairly busy night with lots of friendly people and lots of play going on though we were told the club really comes into its own on an event night because the main (very comfy) lounge area is huge so even on a busy normal night it can seem a bit sparse. Most people stayed in the bar area so easy to chat to people or alternatively be in a quiet spot to do some people watching.
The single guys (limited numbers allowed) on a Saturday night were very respectful so we felt very comfortable.
Decor wise not too dissimilar to Xtasia/Jaydees so not quite on the level of the VA or Liberty Elite but still very nice, very clean and some great and varied play areas including a large couples only area.
This is a big club but with lots of variation so something to see most of the night.
A big plus for us was that the staff were not only approachable, helpful and friendly but were happy to chat to you as well. Always feel that the hosts/owners are an important part of the experience.
Oh and it's an inexpensive night, BYO with soft drinks and chocolate and treats available to buy. A cup of tea at the end of the night before the drive home was very welcome.
Like every club/event you have a good time depending on what you like and who you do (or don't) meet. Although we haven't been to Quest (and will try it at some point assuming they let us in lol), from what people told us, Pandora seems to just have so many more options for an interesting evening whereas as Quest is much smaller and more intimate. Though most people we spoke to liked both clubs. So try both! Simples. |

"Visiting a club tonight as a couple. Which one would you recommend? Ideally looking for younger clientele
Let us know if you’re going "
When we went last Saturday, there was a wide age range but quite a high proportion of couples in your age range compared to most UK clubs we have been to. |

2 things -
First, Pandora picked up instantly and were very helpful and patient with newbie questions over the phone the other week ahead of what was to be our first ever visit to a club / our first toe in the water generally. Peter said we'd be fine registering on the night, which was to be a Saturday. (A positive Covid test put the kibosh on it, unfortunately.)
Second, can we ask if people have any opinions on whether Pandora or Quest is better for dancing and, if so, why? We like a dance, to all sorts of music rather than dance music as such.
Thanks in advance.

We love dancing and Jaydees near Cambridge always has people dancing every Saturday night
Although Pandora has a great dance area, unless it's a special event night where there are lots of people attending, on a normal night the club is way to big to create an atmosphere for people to get up and dance unless there is a large group of you. The dance music was more background music than loader dance floor that you could get lost in. But it has great potential for dancing on the right night. No idea on Quest. |
