The ratio of male to female is mostly very strongly in the male camp. Weekends feel more balanced. Friday nights are couples only. Don’t go expecting it to be a club club in terms of dance floor and slick facilities. If you do you will be disappointed. Go expecting friendly people who are usually up for a chat and a chilled out atmosphere … we have made most of our long-standing friends in this ‘industry’ there. If you go maybe squint a bit so that you don’t focus on the decor, but maybe you won’t be looking at that anyway! One of the weirdest places in this scene but it has a charm and it’s place and we kind of like it. |

This pretty much nails it. Not a swinging club, more a naturist spa. Not plush, more cheap and cheerful. Mostly men but occasionally lovely couples and ladies. Shouldn’t work really but it’s actually rather lovely  |

Yes agreed. We go there a lot and we really enjoy staying overnight and not having to worry about having a glass or two of wine and driving. The clientele is quite friendly at all times but we prefer Friday afternoons and evenings. During the Friday afternoon there is a mixture of couples and single guys, then after 7:00pm it is couples only. We enjoy the relaxed ambience and we usually get invited to join other couples. The spa facilities are good and the cafe serves a reasonable choice of food snacks etc. The rooms are good and reasonable value with breakfast included. |
