After attending my first club experience last weekend and having an amazing time I have a question….. I loved the glory hole and enjoyed all it had to offer. However, rather naively didn’t think that STD’s can be passed on this way too (oral gonorrhoea and chlamydia for eg) for guys giving oral too obviously. I would always use a condom when having sex but for some reason isn’t the done thing giving oral. I love giving and receiving oral…. What are other’s view on this?

It’s a risk. Assume everyone has stis and make your decisions accordingly.

The is risk but it's less with than intercourse. Protect yourself as much as you need to feel confident. My preference is no condoms for either and I've not had a STD ever. But I respect that's a risk not everyone is willing to take.

Tbh I don't think anyone uses a condom for oral. Xx

In Swinging there is an element of risk v reward. Most on the scene don't use oral precautions and (purely anecdotally) we don't hear of anyone coming undone from unprotected oral. So there is risk as you pointed out but to us oral unprotected is a level of risk we're happy with. However its your health, your life, your choice.

I have had a guy put on a condom for oral. It wasn't nice for me and kept slipping down.

Life's a risk, assess the situation and risk to your health accordingly. It's all about personal responsibility for us.

Personally it's condoms for penetrative, but oral then it's like food...if it smells bad then it's off amd don't eat it

Oral is a Risk.

It is even more of a risk if you have gum infections for eg.

I recently started a thread about people’s preference for giving/receiving a blowjob with a condom on. I would conservatively say that 98% said either no condom or no bj (from both men and women).

Oral sex with either sex is a risk, and you have to hope others have regular checkups, and do so yourself.

You can check people’s ‘history’ to an extent, with their veris on their profile in here, and make a decision based on that, but in a club scenario……? Caveat emptor…….

It’s the done thing with me.

8 years at clubs, condoms for oral and sex. Never a complaint or issue from any men 1:1 or in group fun

Do what makes you comfortable. But as someone who clubs regularly, it’s never been an issue. No one’s mentioned it or made remarks. xx

There are clubs that actually do checks once a month. If you choose this life style you need to get checked out regularly. As for clubs being a problem I disagree you only need to play with one person to be at risk... Nothing stop herpes.x
