I think Chameleons in Darlaston might be a good fit for what you are looking for. Upstairs they have some rooms that look like prison cells- you can close the gate to make sure nobody comes in and disturb you, but as those are bars, not solid door, people can still see you.

Once you're ready/if you're ready, you might let one or two watchers in.
