Just had an email to say that Kestrels will no longer be opening on a Saturday. Still open Sunday Friday. Was it not well frequented on a Saturday daytime? |

"No I don’t think it was we went once on a sat during the day and it was empty which was great because we fucked everywhere lol "
It’s always been a quiet Saturday daytime. Sunday is always great. |

I went once on a Saturday and it was very quiet compared with Sundays which is packed. Given the cost of energy bills rising, I think it makes sense for the club to stay financially sustainable. They probably lose money on a Saturday daytime. |

Last couple of times I went on a Saturday (which admittedly were quite a few weeks ago), they were very quiet. I assume they haven't picked up in numbers like other days/evenings have.
Pity, as it was always nice to have the option of Saturday (Kestrels, I mean), but totally understandable as the place had got to make money. I think Sundays were more popular than Saturdays even in the old venue from memory. |
