Good question..we nearly attended pennant hall Saturday last and I nearly wore my suit....but mrs bigwall was fooked after marching up snowdon with me...

Would it have been wise(the suit)

i usually wear chinos,shirt and shoes, boxers underneath, afterwards usually a towel

It depends on the club.

If it's a towel club, I normally wear a pair of jeans and a tshirt because as soon as you get through the door you get changed.

If it's a nightclub style club I tend to dress in a similar fashion to what I'd wear if I was going into town to pubs and clubs.

I always wear smart trousers and shirt with Jacket and occasionally a sharp suit...would never go to a club in jeans and tee shirt as that's not my thing.

we believe men should make as much effort as the ladies, although keep away from the makeup lol

honestly ladies love to see there men and other men looking dapper, we wouldnt dream of going to a club in jeans and tshirt regardless if we ended up in a towel

It depends on the club, but smart casual is normally the order of the day (or night ). As has been said, if it's a "towel" club, you'll be changing soon after arrival. Bear in mind that, from the few "non-towel" clubs I've been to, if you play, you may not have somewhere to hang up a smart suit!

Try coming out of a dark room with the right clothes on ? You may go in with trousers that fit someone whos 6 foot two and come out with trousers up to your knees lol
