Yeah, we found the article, we wish them luck, wish the locals would stop making a fuss, they could probably do with the local trade.

To be fair, anyone outside of the lifestyle won't know exactly what to expect but will have some pre-conceived, media fuelled ideas involving creepy men in macs and drug drenched orgies. You and I know that your average swingers club creates less hassle than any town centre Weatherspoons on a Saturday night but people fear what they don't understand.
Not sure how the negative perspective on swinging can be rectified - maybe something revolutionary like public open days/evenings at clubs(with no playing)to de-mystify the whole thing. After all, it wasn't that long ago that 'gentlemen's clubs' (aka lap-dancing clubs)were viewed in much the same negative way. Now you'll find them in mainstream family-orientated areas - such as the one alongside the Odeon cinema in Southampton. |

"Hi we are interested in joining. Please let us know more details "
Details are that this club/hotel opened without planning permission and was closed down back 2013 if I remember right. Hence no comments on this thread for 'over a year' probably about 4 years in fact. |
