planning our first club for next year, where in your opinion is the best club in the uk ? I know different clubs for different things but overall the best club experience ?tia

Everyone is going to have their favourite. Personally, for me, it’s Heathrow AbFabs/Kestrals. The venue has everything you could want in a club and always a good, friendly crowd.

Every club is different. But, from our experience (we've been to a fair few), if you want the club where people are friendly, staff- attentive, and where you don't get judged by the contents of your wallet, Jaydees is the place to be. It may not have the extravagant looks of some of the other clubs, but, in our opinion, it has something for everyone. You have a dance floor with the pole, couples only room, open play areas, private lockable rooms, massive hot tub, lounge area and a kitchen. All that's missing is an outdoor area for sunbathing in summer. And, as they are "in the sticks", it's cash only. But, as you can bring your own alcohol, to be left safely with the bar staff, there's not going to be a surprise of a tab for drinks at the end of the night.

I've been to Quest in Leeds twice now and I really like it, it's a lovely relaxed atmosphere and clean!

it's fairly local though and I'd love to explore some more clubs around the country.

Newport (just for today/tonight)

We picked Chameleons for our first time and it was great. We like the dress down rule as it just gets that initial strip off done so you can start enjoying everything quicker.

We went to Liberty Elite for our first ever club night last night and it was fantastic, we were nervous at first but the atmosphere was so welcoming we felt at home really quickly, would definitely recommend you consider visiting

I always find it quite interesting, topic like that, and posts from people who have only been to one club recommending that club as "the best in the UK". I do get that it's a public forum though.

Try a few different ones, have a feel of different events, too, and then judge for yourself, OP.

We've tried a fair few clubs around the country. And on the ballance of everything Chameleons is simply the best of them.

Of course all clubs are different. Many have different formats so you need to find the sort of club/vibe that suits you. However I would say if you're skeptical about dress down clubs like Chameleons still give them a try. In our experience many people who are skeptical find themselves right at home in no time and like it once they try it.

Yup, fair. And also I guess it depends where you live. Home club advantage and all that. So we've only been to our local party/club, Secrets in Totnes, and have never had a bad night. It's more like a large house party with around 100 couples. Lots of playrooms, a friendly no pressure atmosphere and they're cool with you finding a spot and crashing for the night. In our case we take our camper van. If you're in the South West, it is hands down, THE club to go to.

It closed for a while so we were all forced to look further afield. Top of our list were, Xstasia, Vanilla Alternative (esp the Chic nights) and Le Boudoir. Anyone been to any of these?

We’ve tried lots of different clubs and our club of choice is Hellfire.

You can only tell if a club really suits you by visiting it. Get out and try some.

Always loved Chameleons however each to their own taste. I've been to alot all over the world but always feel the UK clubs have the edge
