I had planned to attend a Halloween event aimed at couples and single females. I was going as part of a couple with an NB partner presenting as femme that night. We discovered that we would have been turned away at the door because we weren't a cis couple. 
How common is this, and should events be specific about what kinds of couples they'll accept? I'd be interested to hear about other people's experiences. |
