Is it just me or Swinger Club websites pretty shit?
We're new to clubs to every visit we look to the clubs in our local area and they just seem difficult to navigate, a struggle to lay eyes on the info you want.
One particular club (not going to name them) I found a day that we wanted to go and it gave the info for time and price, but membership is required. No problem, how do I acquire said membership? No further mention on the site.
I was sat in the room with my kids so wasn't going to ring them, 5 minutes later I had found another club where the info was slightly more accessible.
This same scenario has now played out 3 times. Last night I decided to email said club and ask about membership, whilst also pointing out that their website was a little trickier than it should be (I'm not thick neither). To their credit they did respond.
"We prefer to talk to customers"
That was it, 6 words. Whilst I agree talking is the best and friendliest way to promote your business, its not the most efficient.
My opinion only mind, but ive moved on from this club now and I'm unlikely to make a fifth attempt to give them my money. Other sites are similarly unfriendly. Nice to look at, nice words written, but a bit higgledy piggledy and confused |

I have to agree to be honest. Some sites have very little info, some there seems to be no semblance at all, others have bits of info but completely missing crucial info. The only site that I found had all of the info and in a decent order was Townhouse. Membership info..bam. Breakdown of events...bam. Prices...bam. Covid stuff...bam.
Easy to navigate and to contact the club.
It really shouldn't be hard for clubs to tell us what we need to know!!! Plus, I don't have time for phone calls. I just want to know, what's on at the weekend, how to book, how much and what time! Lol  |

A theory I havent yet put to the test is whether many of the sites are just 'old' and thus designed for desktops rather than being optimised for mobile
I've only been viewing club websites for a short while so have no knowledge of their prior history, just seems most of the ones I look at need to acknowledge a shift in 'the casual consumers habits' in order to transfer that into underwear clad bums on seats |

I tend to agree with the OP. Managing a club is really tough and I get the impression that some sites are impacted by their legacy and those designs become their drawback.
After such a catastrophic year, it's unfortunate that there's not going to be tons of money that they'll have surplus, in order to do even more investment than they have in the past year. |

Well thats being a bit pedantic and missing the point of the actual comment but ok...ALL the swingers club websites we have looked at so far HAVE been shit. Assuming then that the majority are also shit. Some may not be, but yet to find one that answers all of our questions in a few short clicks before deciding on visiting. To be further pedantic, we didn't say 'all'
