So ... I've never been to one before and am kinda nervous to try it out despite being curious.
Do I dare go it alone or would it be recommended to find someone to attend with who has been before? |

I went with a group of friends i met off kik for my first time .
Was nice to have people to say hi to when I arrived, show me around and have a drink with .
They’ve stayed really good friends and now we all go off and do our own things at the clubs, but book hotels and travel together and things. It’s really good cos you’ve always got friends there in between doing who and what you want lol x |

Hi hun, I was in the same situation, and very nervous; although I’ve been on this site for a fair few years, I’d always been on meets at a hotel or their homes, and was absolutely quaking inside! I saw a guy who had put an event meet up who was going to the venue I wanted on the same date (a naturist afternoon and bi-night after 6pm),and was looking for a ‘no-obligation but play if we click’ partner to go with him (to share costs as it’s cheaper than going as a single man). I messaged him, we chatted for a while and went yesterday afternoon. It was still nerve wracking, but I felt so much better having someone to show me around and ‘protect’ me (for want of a better word). I was kicking myself though, as we were approached by a shy but gorgeous lady almost as soon as we got in the pool, but I misread her approach and thought she was just chatting! *smh* Anyway, my chaperone and I did click and had a lovely time together, I was able to look around and explore all the facilities without feeling self conscious, and I’ll definitely be going back on my own as soon as lifestuff permits. Hopefully my lovely lady will also go back then I can apologise, and see if she’ll let me make it up to her! |

Our advice would be to read the forums and club feedback then choose the best one for you.
Some clubs can be very cliquey, others are just the opposite. They also have lots of theme nights so watch out for those.
Once you have been to one, you will wonder why were you nervous about going! |

I think you’ll be just fine, people will make a beeline for you and engage your in conversation. Your problem will more likely be getting rid of people!
Personally I always prefer going with a friend; means you know there’s someone there you like!
Dynamic is very different for men and women I think. |

" Thank you
... Guess ill have to just take the plunge (with or without a chaperone) and see how I feel "
Maybe hook up with a couple who regularly go to the club you want to go to. Just so they can keep an eye on you and you have somebody to talk to. I'm sure it would be easy to find a couple who are happy to look after you for your first couple of visits until you make some friends of your own. We are all, by nature a friendly and welcoming bunch. X |
