Did anyone go to the big reopening of Eurekas this weekend? (there are no reviews of the evening in the reviews session at the moment and we are curious)
So....
How was it?
Did it still have the same atmosphere as before (albeit within an updated space)?
Was it busy?
Did you have to reserve a place on a table as before?
Is there still a lot of dancing? (we liked the dancing)
Did it finish at 3am as previously?
Are there long queues at the bar, no drinks have to be purchased?
Thanks - we are keen to get back, but wanted to hear what it was like before we re-join. |

The open weekend was great, the new club house spacious but not overcrowded. Lovely atmosphere and great seeing everyone enjoying themselves.
No table reservation needed.
There was lots of dancing going on and Jono did his lovely dad dance.
It was very late closing Friday we left at 02:30 and the party still going and Saturday again 01:30 still lots going on!
The service at the bar was quick and a efficient!
Over all we had a great time and looking forward to going again in a few weeks. |

We have been staying at Eureka since last Wednesday and will be here for another week attending all the parties.
The changes are on going and very good especially the club house with much better seating and a much improved dance area with more room to move freely around. The staff are very friendly, drinks at reasonable prices and served quickly, just a shame about the weather as the grounds are amazing on a sunny day.
Bear in mind coming out of covid and a crap summer, things here will continue to improve over time, so be patient and try it for yourself and consider yourself lucky to have such a great club in a wonderful setting located in a very central position for most. |

I am being patient as i'm not yet ready to start meeting, reasons for which are personal. I was a gold member, pre covid, for over 10 years and have spoken to yourselves on many occasions.
I fully intend to try it for myself like i did with two previous owners, just not at the moment.
Hope the weather improves and you enjoy the rest of your stay. |

I wasn't being personal, just a general comment.
I'm sure you will like it and look forward to meeting you again and hope things improve for you very soon. |
