Depends on the club.

No ‘dress down’ rule then smart casual is normally ok unless an event is on and calls for specific dress code.

If it’s a dress down club then doesn’t really matter as you’ll be stripping off fairly soon after entering.

Ladies are encourage to dress to impress at most clubs, with a change into lingeries at some point in the evening.

Pretty much all the one's we've been to the "norm" is generally ladies wear classy/sexy dresses and get changed in to something more revealing later on such as lingerie. The boys dress smart (shirt and proper shoes) and have decent underwear.

Some clubs will have a stricter dress code than others like no jeans or trainers and there is often theme nights so it's worth checking.

Hope this helps OP?

At our club we only ask members to dress down if they want to go upstairs into the play rooms. If they want to stay on the ground floor they can wear whatever they feel comfortable in (We have a couple of exceptions. No Hats. caps, no football tops and no tracksuits)
