VA Festival of Fun - Friday/Saturday evening only?

We are thinking of booking a 3 day FoF camping ticket but wondered if friends are able to attend the Friday and Saturday night, or is it only open for FoF ticket holders?

If you go onto their ticket page for fof, there are Friday and Saturday tickets or you can buy a weekend pass with no camping.
