So I’ve been reading through a few threads, anyone actually know what chams is going to be like when it opens initially have there been any announcements at all, thanks in advance, and hope to see you there soon

Thats Chameleons for you, they don't need any media presence or promotion. All they need do is open their doors and let the word out, the people will come. We for one are sitting like coiled springs waiting for the day we get that great news.

Or a cocky realisation that people just love the place as it is and they simply need do nothing. It always amazing me when you getting talking to people in there the distances some have travelled to be there. We know a couple in there frequently who travel over from Ireland.

Probably because they don't have a licenced bar and the layout they will unfortunately have to wait til the local authority gives them the green light to reopen. Hopefully end of June..weve provisionally booked a room for first last Friday in June in hope...

Replying from my single account, but first attended with my husband and we joined at the door. Phoned first to check, and it was just a case of bringing ID and paying membership & attendance.

Then when we were happy there as a couple and comfortable enough I started going on my own as well, again just joining on the door.

Much more difficult for the single guys though!

The Robin Hood which is about 5 minutes away is a decent place, apart from that not many actually in Darlaston. Beat looking for some a couple of minutes drive x

I drove 3 and half hours to visit Chams a few years ago. Stayed for a long weekend. Had a great time and my only grumble is WHY is it not on my doorstep? Lol. I would be there every week!

Until they have a date confirmed that they can open they won't just offer a best guess...yes it's looking like the final easing of lockdown June 21st or such.....but who knows what might happen between now and then...so until confirmed no opening date as yet..

There’s limited rooms at chams but great when you can stay. There’s 4 main stream hotel local to the motorway junction usually well priced and a taxi is very cheap to from

Replying from my single account, but first attended with my husband and we joined at the door. Phoned first to check, and it was just a case of bringing ID and paying membership & attendance.

Then when we were happy there as a couple and comfortable enough I started going on my own as well, again just joining on the door.

Much more difficult for the single guys though!"

I must of been lucky, or my face fitted, as I asked on the door if I could become a member, was told single males are usually on a waiting list to join, but go on then.

It must be really difficult for some guys to know the difference between pestering and showing an interest. We don't want to have to officially say "please go away" to someone in a club. But at the same time if guys don't try... Tricky I'm sure.

We’ve been on a Sunday which is also a weekend day and it’s been busy with single guys (which very much suits Smoke). We were asking from a point of view of comparison - as she’d like to go when there are lots of guys.

I've been on some very busy Sundays, mainly party nights, but usually Sundays are a relatively relaxed affair compared to Fridays which often used to feel as if they had max'd out the capacity of the venue.

More single guys during the day time on Fridays than Sundays too.

Dress for you and wear what you feel comfortable in.

I wear short and revealing sometimes and long sheer and not so revealing other times as I think both can look sexy.

Leaving something to the imagination is not always a bad thing in my eyes

Yes they seem to have the balance just right ... it’s weird to read other clubs seem to have troubles with rogue single guys and hike their prices (like that’s a good filter !) or you can only go as the guest of a couple etc
