Am thinkjbg of attebding Club Play in Blackpool (formerly Club XS i believe) has anybody information about your visit if enjoyex it were disappointed. Akso i will be attending as a sibgle male wondrr how receptive that would be. Many thanks

We have been very busy and if you liked Sx previously then the changes we have made to make it Club Play we are hoping will blow everyone away.
It's always been our intention to make everyone feel welcome and make them comfortable at Club Play and do make an effort to speak to everyone and try and introduce new guests to other club members if we see them alone xxx
We don't mind admitting we are all very nervous and excited about the prospect of being able maybe to open again after the 21st of June. Butterfly's Just thinking about the opening of Play  |

I’ve been as a single guy and had a great night. Loads of really friendly people and you’ll find people to chat to very quickly.
Same as any club; go in with no expectations other than to have a great social night |

I'll be in Blackpool from the 23rd of June for a few days, been to ClubSx numerous times and always had great fun, so my timing could be spot on for the opening of Clubplay.
My favourite times were Mardi Gras and Bi Nights.
Where will the Opening Night and future events be advertised so I can get my name down?

To the OP you will enjoy really friendly people both clients and staff. As a single male as long as you treat it like a normal bar and are polite friendly and sociable you will have a great time maybe even with some nakedness involved. Even if no nakedness enjoy the vibe and the music you can tell the owner is a former DJ great mix of tunes young and old |

Can't wait for the grand reopening, always made to feel very welcome and have had some great nights at Club SX.(Club Play) I can assure you as recent newbie to the club, I was made to feel very welcomed and at ease and with having 2 floors was able to take my own time to dress down when i had relaxed to the atmosphere of the place. My favourite club to visit, not just for playing but for general banter and atmosphere of the place. |

I've been attending their events since the early days of it opening. It's a really friendly club and the staff are all fantastic and very welcoming.
I've never actually been as a single guy and yet somehow always seem to take a lady with me.
Can't wait to get to see my lovely friends at _lub play when its open. Well worth a drive over the Pennines. |

Great club, really well run. All the staff were great both nights we attended, atmosphere was brilliant and so much fun was had. We are really looking forward to getting back and visiting again |

Lots of people have asked that question but unfortunately until we are certain of any date given from the government and if any restrictions we may have to implement we can not open a Guestlist.
The Guestlist will be limited to 200 people as always unless the government sets limits. We know everyone wants to come to the opening night but it will be those who get there names down first on the list when fab opens up the Club events section again.
We already know we could probably fill the guestlist 4 times over from the messages we have received and apologise in advance for those who miss out xxx |

We do invest at lot of our time in the club and Just concluding the changes downstairs
We have spent the last two days adding a massive UV playroom the size of 4 double beds replacing the old dark room |

We do run the Club a little like an extended family and all the staff & volunteers & hosts are very close dear friends of ours & each other xxx
I think we can speak for everyone involved in the club when we say we all truly  the open community swinging lifestyle spirit and feel thats exists within Club Play and this obviously what people pick up on visiting.
We try to extend that feeling to everyone who visits and hope they want to become part of our Club play swinging family in a way.
A good friend put her finger on it the other day when she said it's not always about the sex but the social aspect and seeing dear friends is much more important within the swinging community
But.... she did say the sex was good too lol  |

We are thinking of doing an opening weekend other than an opening night to help with the large numbers asking to attend the club opening.
Our thinking is to release around 100 joint weekend tickets for friday and Saturday night, so an opening weekend ticket. Price to be arranged - We think these tickets we be like gold dust and go very fast.
We will then split the remaining 100 tickets left for friday & Saturday night to different people.
This will full the club to capacity Fiday & Saturday night and give people more chance of enjoying the opening weekend.
To add we have NOT opened an official list yet but will open it as soon as we are confident of the opening date and fab allows it again |

The Vouyeur room is basically the same other than a mirrored dressing talble added beside the door entrance opposite the end of bed and bed hight increased as requested by many
The couples room opposite the voyeur room has a had a large voyeur window added and a automatic closing door after entering for those who like to watch and be watched xxx |

Thank you xxx We try to run the club in an open inclusive way for all and have no time for bigotry and always try to be innovative with new ideas and most importantly lisen to our members and change accordingly
In fact we are so excited about the club changes, most asked for or voted on by the club members xxx An awful lot of hard work has gone into the club transformation from Sx to Club Play and we would to thank everyone thats helped with all the changes, you are all amazing
The club is not far from being finished, we just need the government to give us a definite date to open, hopefully the weekend after 21st of June xxx |

Not many are open yet and the fact is that for most clubs having outside customers in very small numbers is not financially viable.
Some may open in May but for us the earliest will be the first weekend after June 21st xxx |

It has been suggested but not yet decided but obviously if large enough numbers commit or ask for it we may do so
Being a very large Party weekend nightclub swinging venue in Blackpool that provides a full buffet similar to a wedding every weekend we found daytimes in the past not popular and people tended to coming us in the evening lol simply the running costs out weighted the daytime trade and why we tend to focus on evenings more xxx |

Really good idea to take drinks n payment in advance, certainly make entry quicker and more efficient. One of the many reasons we love this club, alway evolving, accommodating and thinking ahead. |

We do try to be forward thinking and make changes and always evolving as you say so kindly xxx
We never take anything for granted, especially our members and listen to suggestions and always adapting to the swingers world, as it evolves so do we.
We can't wait to see everyone again and now counting down the days till June 25th & 26th weekend when we are hoping to reopen depending on the government & local council and any restrictions put in place.

Thats mainly because four of the rooms upstairs are literally in peices being changed or updated at the minute lol
but... we do have dreams of big beds in other ways too |

I’ve stayed in the Seaside Suites Reads Road and the DJ suites. Neither are brilliant but it’s a bed and walkable to the club. Of the two I think the DJ suite was probably a little better.

Just to warn people the Government have said that after 21st June is the EARLIST possible date and not given any clarification yet if this will happen and if any restrictions will be in place for the nighttime industry.
We will be ready of course for the weekend of Friday 25th & Saturday 26th of June but can't confirm the dates or control Government or local council actions meaning an awful lot can change between now and then unfortunately.
Although everything looks to be heading in the right direction and we are staying postive please we aware of these facts before booking hotels or guest Houses please xxx |

You will be more than welcomed in by the hosts, very relaxed atmosphere and with 2 floors can take your own time settling in. Downstairs is very much like a club/pub scene with the upstairs a dress down area. My favourite club to visit, great for socialising with like minded people and you will always be made to feel very welcome |

This message is really to those who are thinking of going to a club for the first time
I’ve been to Club Play (formerly SX) as both a single guy and as a couple. In all situations I have had some great nights there. Everyone is made to feel very welcome and the club as an amazing air of friendliness about it.
Definately can’t wait for reopen |

Absolutely love the place and virtually live there, became one of the family on my first visit as a single lady and go often as a couple still now. Go, you won't be disappointed!! We can't go opening weekend at the end of June (all going to BoJos plan) but try stopping us for the weekend after!!!

This maybe a possibility and being discussed at the minute as a limited opening from 1pm till 8pm or 9pm.
The problem with daytime opening has alway been the club is very large and runs of electricity for all its power, night rate is a quarter of the price of the day rate and everyone wants to pay a lot less to go to a club in the daytimes, so in effect we lose money opening daytime and bad business sense.
The only way we can open daytimes is if we have sufficient numbers to cover our opening costs in all areas like power, staffing & cleaning, condoms we provide free ect
Simply any daytime event we do will have to be busy to cover all costs xxx |

Think we are nervous for a few reasons.
Firstly, as June 21st approaches we are hoping and praying that date dose not get changed and the authorities give us some idea of how we will be able to open and any if restrictions or new rules will apply.
Secondly, the changes and renovation to the club are on such a level now that we think some people maybe cunfused & surprised walking back into the building but hopefully in a good way
Thirdly, on a personal level we feel like born again swinging virgins after what will be 18 months since we last played thats good in some ways for when we do play again (volunteers welcome) joke! but what was everyday normal every day life running a club will seem very different when we reopen after this length of time xxx |

This is one of the biggest unknowns from the government at the minute and we think its very unfair to ask the night-time industry not just swingers clubs to have the solutions without setting out framework to work within with so little time to go until opening again after the 21st of June and does make us very nervous about opening again
On one hand you want to do everything possible to make people safe and on the other there are legal rights of individuals if breached could be seen as discrimination. The government and local authorities really need to put a legal framework in place we can work within safely for customers & staff without fear of breaching human right or discrimination laws.
Basically we need to know the rules to be able to open again and what restrictions & rules and safeguards we are allowed or not to implement before we open again, hence nervous & very stressed about thoughts of opening  |

Only been the once (The all night event event shortly after the opening under new management ) was great , lots rooms and party atmosphere. So will definitely attending when it re-opens

I love this club.. the atmosphere, the staff and of course the owners.
Clean and well run and a great mix of people.
I travel 200 miles each way just to visit this club and honestly can't wait to visit again.
I honestly cannot reccomend it enough whether your a newbie or experienced its by far the best club I've ever been to. |

"We do invest at lot of our time in the club and Just concluding the changes downstairs
We have spent the last two days adding a massive UV playroom the size of 4 double beds replacing the old dark room "
We haven’t been before but cannot wait to visit and see how amazing it is for ourselves xxx |

Not been to _lub play yet, we were nervous enough just to try infusions but loved it and went almost monthly... heard good things about _lub play |

Only ever been to Blackpool on stag doos but I'm coming on my own 23rd to 25th July booked in at paradise hotel. and _lub play 100% on my to-do list can't wait, heard so much about this place, be great to socialize in the same place as like minded people, hopefully chat some of you there x |
